I really dont know how anyone has a good grade on Carr considering all he does is throw the ball 0-5 yards from the line of scrimmage.

How many games have you watched? He has a perfect deep ball, he is on mark at 50+ yards. As a Fresno State fan, I would love it.

Well here is a surefire, unbiased opinon lol

If you're looking for a rookie QB to start and win right away and make the Playoffs then I don't think Carr is the answer.  If you want to groom and develop a guy, build the O-line and give him some weapons then Carr has a chance to be a legit Franchise top 10 QB with his current skill set and physical traits.  I feel he has the highest potential/upside of all the QBs in the draft.  Of course he probably has a higher chance to bust.  Do you go with the safe pick at QB who can throw the check down on 3rd and 10 or do you go with the guy who will thread the needle with a 40 yard rope for the game winning TD?  That is the gunslinger you are getting with Carr.  He is comparable to Stafford/Cutler at this point and will need some coaching up.  His coaches in college did him no favors with their gimmick offense and didn't care to develop him.  They just pretty much told him to go make plays and get rid of the ball quickly. The last QB the Bucs drafted in the first round from Fresno St. didn't turn out too bad.  He helped turned them from the Yucs to the Bucs and become playoff contenders.  He also played 15 yrs, made the Pro Bowl and even won a Super Bowl as the starting QB.  20 years later it might be time to do it again.

Good take on Carr.  I'm not sure I see him as having as high of a ceiling as you do, but I agree on your descriptions of his traits and playing style.
