Agreed. Its certainly possible the offense takes a step back and so all the more so needing the defense to get off the filed.

I would hardly call the Seahawks or the Patriots "scrub teams". Well, maybe the Patriots...LOL. Not the Seahawks though, they earned it.
Yes I would agree the Seahawks are sort of the model team. Smart GM, Good HC, run game, disciplined and solid defense (no gimmicks) and a good enough QB
The Seahawks are a complete team even though they do not have a lot of household names. It is that they really understood what they were trying to do but their superior coaching helped.

That was most obvious with their defense where they often seemed pretty vanilla but very effective and disciplined. A few well timed blitzes maybe, but mostly 11 guys doing their job well and fast.
Could probably say the same about their offense, but the defense is what really propelled them.
