Lawrence doesn't look 100%. He'll probably play next week because the Jags have to stop the bleeding.
He’s now in concussion protocol.
Bears lost. They are supposedly all on board the Fields train. It will be interesting to see what they do with the first pick of the draft. Will they trade it away and stock up at other positions? Or will the trade Fields and draft Caleb? Some close ones today.
"Marvin Harrison Jr, Wide Receiver, Ohio State."
whats up with the Jags last night? tough team to figure out
The Ravens defense is very good, that's what happened.
Yup, the Ravens are best scoring defense in the league and Lawrence was nursing a high ankle sprain. For anybody with a clue, that was result wasn't surprising at all.
Yes the Ravens are good, but Lawrence didn't seem right. Perhaps it was the concussion, but he seemed to be slinging the ball awkwardly as if something wasn't right with his arm or shoulder. Even if he clears concussion protocol I don't think he'll be anywhere close to 100%.whats up with the Jags last night? tough team to figure out

Lawrence didn't seem right.
I think he's concussed late in the game but while I was watching he just dropped a ball running with it near the goal line

He had a noticeable ankle injury in the last 14 days.
Arguably the most talked about thing on ESPN and every other network reporting on the NFL.
Damn. Looks like Dallas in first round but would be good to see if the free falling eagles end up at that 5th seed
Nice comeback by the Seasquawks last night! Eagles have dropped 3 in a row now. 😀 😀 😀
Eagles are 0-3 since Sirianni’s husband was banned from the sidelines.
Poor guy…
Trent Williams should be the league MVP. Best player on the best team and they were 0-2 without him. Don't know how the media can decided his position isn't deserving of the award when he was the 4th pick in the draft and has a $138M contract.

CMAC laughed at this.
All while casually putting up over 200 yards from scrimmage and 4 TD's in said 2 games without Williams.
CMAC is the best player on that team. And, the best player in the league.
And, I'm the biggest RB hater on these boards.

Trent Williams was injured with 3:06 left in the 1st qtr vs Cleveland. He finished the game significantly injured and missed their next 2 games before their bye week.
CMC is a great dual threat RB. Make sense since his dad was a great WR. But you're not going to like these numbers.
CMC with a healthy Trent Williams: 210 carries, 1186 yards, 5.7 ypc
CMC with an injured/out Trent Willams: 34 carries, 106 yards, 3.1 ypc.
Before the Williams injury the 49ers were 5-0 and up 7-0. After the Williams injury the 49ers crashed to 5-3. Since he came back they're 6-0. Williams is clearly the MVP.
There was an interesting side discussion here abut Wilson and the Seahawks
The Denver Broncos are benching quarterback Russell Wilson for the remainder of the 2023 NFL season, team head coach Sean Payton told reporters on Wednesday.
“Rather than get into the specifics — because I think that would be unfair today — it’s more about what we weren’t doing effectively enough offensively,” Payton said.

i'm sure somebody will kick the tires on Wilson
let's see
teams in need of a QB next year - Giants, Redskins, Buccaneers, Falcons, Saints, Vikings, Bears, Cardinals, and Seahawks in the NFC. The Patriots, Raiders, Broncos, and Titans in the AFC.
Giants likely stuck with Daniel Jones another year as are the Seahawks with Geno Smith and Saints with Derek Carr
Bucs will re-sign Baker Mayfield. here's hoping to a reasonable deal and not a Giants/Seahawks egg on face deal.
Bears should draft Drake Maye or Caleb Williams with their first pick. Washington should draft Drake Maye or Caleb Williams with their first pick.
Patriots likely take Jayden Daniels so 3 QBs off the board in the top 5.
this leaves Falcons, Vikings, Cardinals, Raiders, Broncos, and Titans in the QB mix.
QBs to choose from - Kirk Cousins, Kyler Murray, Justin Fields, Russell Wilson, Ryan Tannehill, & Jimmy G
Falcons - Pretty solid supporting cast with Bijan Robinson, Drake London, Kyle Pitts and Jonnu Smith. Wouldn't be surprised if they landed one of these vets and im sure would be enticing to Cousins or Wilson
Vikings - again, another solid team just missing a QB. Kirk Cousins was balling out before he got hurt with Minnesota. They weren't winning but he had 18 TDs to 5 INTs in 8 games. Guy puts up solid numbers and will likely be the most coveted QB on the market. Returning to Minnesota may be his best bet but i could see them trying something new since they weren't exactly making Super Bowls with him. Could they try someone else? Sure. but wont be as good as Cousins
Broncos - could Payton lure Cousins? Would he really want to try anyone else? ehh
Raiders, Cardinals, and Titans - Maybe they call in quits and go with their current guys. Won't lead to anymore than 8 wins MAX and missing the playoffs but maybe those franchises are ok with that.
