i'm sure somebody will kick the tires on Wilson
for sure although he's got some more baggage now (besides just age).
He felt the offense in Seattle limited his abilities. Ironically, there was report (denied by him) that he tried to push Carroll out in favor of . . . Payton.
He gets traded to Broncos to a brand new HC who said BEFORE the trade he had no reason to watch Wilson film . . and Wilson has the worst year (?) of his career even though he had to have the MOST control over the offense he ever had (what he wanted in Seattle)
That guy is FIRED and . . . coincidence, right . . he gets Payton. -- odd choice because Payton succeeded with Brees who is the POLAR OPPOSITE type of QB -- and now Payton has benched him* and his days as a Bronco are likely over
He's got better stats than the year before BUT . . .team struggle on manageable 3rd downs and red zone and Payton says that guys are open (one of the earliest critiques on Wilson from his Seattle days).
Full circle. IMPOSSIBLE to say that Wilson is not at least part of the problem (and I am a Wilson fan)
* Payton says overall offense performance and there is also a contractual reason, arguably
Wilson was a victim in Seattle and now in Denver?
"Russell Wilson says Denver Broncos benched him for refusing contract change"
Problem with that claim is they asked him in week 8, I think. So, they played him for weeks even after he declined?

he wasn’t playing bad. He just wasn’t playing to his contract.
if he was at $25-$30 million per year, they’d be content with his play and alas using the remaining $25 million to grab a difference maker to get them a couple wins more and a playoff team.
Man, 2 minutes of the Ravens Miami game = Ravens TD (on a Miami-like motion play) followed by a Miami interception which leads to a Ravens TD on 4th down
crazy
Ronnie and TKraz were complaining about how the fans didn't get their money's worth. But it could be worse. I happened to be in the Twin Cities on Sunday during the Vikings Packers game. There were Vikings fans in the hotel and at least one on my flight back to Tampa traveling from afar for the big game. They say the average ticket price was $232 but I think that's a bit low. The game tickets I saw were $300 to $400 range to have the pleasure of watching their rival squash them and their playoff hopes 33-10. Plenty of Cheeseheads at the game to provide the crowd noise while the Vikings fans sat and watched.
But that poor Tampa Bay area Vikings fan shelled out plane tickets, hotel, game tickets, etc. to go up to Minneapolis to watch his beloved Vikings not score a TD until they were already down 30-3 in the 4th. He was looking depressed in his first class seat on the way home. Hopefully he got to catch the Charles Schultz exhibit while he was there, because he probably felt like Charlie Brown after Lucy pulled the ball away. Good grief!
Just saw the Panthers owner Tepper got fined 300k by the league for throwing a drink at a Jags fan. That dude is a real class act 🙄 .

Agreed. He seems like a total ass.
His actual story is pretty amazing though, the self-made billionaire who left a big job (where he was twice passed over for promotion, in part because of his obnoxious personality, supposedly) to bet on himself. Made a fortune buying risky out a favor stocks and bonds, starting from a borrowed office with one of his clients.
Maybe the downside to all that success is an ego that has him reportedly IGNORING football people and throwing drinks on rivals fans . . as his team is a true LAUGHINGSTOCK under his "leadership."
The drink throwing video is a truly terrible look for the NFL, sort of a "let them eat cake" moment . . a wealthy aristocrat showing his disdain for the people (fans) who pay the bills.
JUST ANOTHER REASON TO GO KICK THEIR ASS!
Yeah hopefully karma helps us out with shit panthers owner lol
Didnt initially know there know there is a video....having now watched it, it further demonstrates a shit owner for a shit franchise. After the tantrum he threw when firing Reich, and now this, what coach in their right mind would want to work for him ? Urban Meyer? Joking aside....yea not a good look for the NFL or the Panthers.
Pack / bears should be a good one , like to see Love make playoffs his first year starting .
lol @ Arthur Smith bitching out Dennis Allen for running up the score. Smith was right to bitch Allen out, as the Saints should have taken knees.
Damn if Packers make playoffs today , they would be youngest team ever to do so .
Aj brown is hurt davonta smith is hurt swift is banged up eagles limping into tampa next week
