Let's say the Bucs do draft Vita Vea in the first round like Pewter Report's mock draft. I for one am liking the idea more and more personally. In this scenario we don't land a stud defensive end in free agency. We obviously still have to add some edge talent. Would you rather:
A) Try to trade up from the 2nd round if Key or Davenport slip within reach.
Or
B) Sit tight and take a second round DE or Rush LB to pair with Vita/GMC.
Who would be your pick at pass rusher?
Personally, I think I'd make a play for Key if not too expensive. I think he's too risky at #7, but I'd take him later. He doesn't seem to be as much as a be project as Davenport.
Key, McCoy, Vea, and Spence would be a huge improvement in pass rush, IMO. Vita should really help shut down the running game as well.
Thoughts?
