I recall reading some criticism of Fitzpatrick here that even though his passing stats are off the charts, most of that was because of yards after the catch. Might be, I thought, so I looked into this.
It turns out this critcism is unfounded.
In fact, Fitzpatrick leads the entire NFL in average air yards per completion at 10.4. That's more than 1.5 more than the number two, Deshaun Watson.
He's also ninth in quickest time to throw, 2.61 seconds.
