a blow hard who can’t back up his claims and then gets angry when someone points that out
What would you like me to point out?
The Evans catch where he runs a dig out of 11-personnel that was wide open due to Palmer running a skinny post out of the slot freezing the safety deep (Jarrett was wide open too).
The first missed TD to Godwin which was another 11-personnel that had Otton run a skinny post that drug the safety over allowing Godwin a free release off the corner.
The 12-personnel with Otton(pre-snap motion to backfield), Play action (Twin Right) Palmer skinny post, pulling the safety, Otton quick out freezing the LB, resulting with an easy pitch and catch to Godwin wide open on the dig.
The 11-personnel, Trips right, Godwin motion personal, to quick out jamming the corner, Tompkins runs a shallow out, baiting the corner on Palmer, who gets a free release on a go route for an easy big gain.
Which one do you want, Counselor?
two punts
You spelled “pints” wrong, lush.
So based on this info, that you assert proves Canales' scheming is totally different from and so much better than anything that happened last year. Although we had the 5th most passing yds in the league, two 1000 yd receivers and Mike had 12 receptions for 237 yds and 3 td's vs Carolina. Get out of here with this aggenda driven and dishonest BS.

These states are really incomplete though and, as is so often the case, flip cause and effect.
We had the 5th most passing yards in part because we did NOT have a good offense. We finished the year something like 30/70 run pass and so we threw the ball all over the place out of necessity
You also picked an Evans performance that was notable precisely because it was an outlier as compared to the whole season and arguably such a poor defensive choice that the coach wasn't hired lol
THE CURRENT SAMPLE SIZE is way to small to make a statement about Canales offense BUT going off the Seahawk teams he came from, its not so much that his offense is some inovative scheme. Its that it features and builds off of the run

As of right now, it is.

Cool.
We also averaged less than 18.5 points per game. Which put us in the bottom fifth of the league.
Right now, we're averaging more (admittedly...small sample size).
Get out of here with this aggenda driven and dishonest BS.
Dishonest BS?
Those are stats. Those are facts.
Where is it dishonest?
And, why is that nearly every media outlet has been gushing over Baker and the new offensive scheme that Canales has brought in?
Are they agenda driven as well?
I asked you to look at the All-22 from the first 2 games and compare them to any 2 random games from last year and list the differences. Why won't you do it?
Maybe it's agenda driven.
And, why is that nearly every media outlet has been gushing over Baker and the new offensive scheme that Canales has brought in?
Because it deviates from the expectation. The same media outlets once gushed about Leftwich.
certainly hope it lasts but tough to o say that until we perform in a flat or even a negative turnover game.
" THE CURRENT SAMPLE SIZE is way too small to make a statement about Canales' offense" is exactly my point. So anyone who does is either agenda driven, dishonest, ignorant, simply delusional or maybe all 4. This same asshole made a simular assertion about our running game after the 1st preseason game where we had like 66 yds on 29 carries.Although we had the 5th most passing yds in the league, two 1000 yd receivers and Mike had 12 receptions for 237 yds and 3 td's vs Carolina.

I mentioned our 5th in passing last year and Mike's Carolina game to show that we had to have receivers being schemed open to even get there.

Who could have seen this coming?
Ignorance is bliss.
The Bucs scored 20 points or more just 7 of their 18 games last year; going 4-3 in those games. their other 4 wins they scored 19, 16, 17, and 19 points.
this year they have scored 20 points or more in 2 out of their 2 games, going 2-0 in those games.
Moral of the story is let's see more sample size but no comparison to Leftwich should be spun equal; the dude blew.

And so far they are playing exactly to the Canales model, save maybe the start of the Vikes.
They have been willing to stick with the run and protected the ball while playing good defense. Mixed in some explosives (passing)
This game will be a real test though, mostly because the Buc O-line v Eagle D-line mismatch is so large, at least on paper.
Good chance to see some of that Canales scheme (screens, TEs, etc)
(one other wildcard is that we have a lot of guys having their first moment on the big stage)
And so far they are playing exactly to the Canales model, save maybe the start of the Vikes.
True. I feel like I’m watching the 2013 Seattle Seahawks.
Clueless clown.
Why are you guys so agro about everything?
It's a message board. It's OK to debate and not get bent out of shape...
But for the love of God you guys... just freaking chill for a bit
Agreed. Tired of all this BS. Like a bunch of bickering old ladies.
Jeez how can anyone defend the performance of the Bucs offense last year? Who gives a shit how many passing yards the Bucs got? Does anyone remember how may points per game the offense managed to produce? If they had managed just one more touchdown per game, the regular season record would have improved from 8-9 to 12-5! Where is Leftwich working now? Does he have a job in football, any level of football? Face it, he sucked ass, and everyone knows it.

Captain Agro lmao
(Love the 2013 shout. Never met a statistic you didn’t love - well, except for Trask’s height and weight)
Face it, he sucked ass, and everyone knows it.
But that’s the problem: everyone doesn’t know it. There are a handful of football simpletons that spent all last season, this offseason, and are still clinging to that incorrect notion this season. No amount of factual information will alter their inferior opinion. They are shamelessly ignorant.
he's crap, typical bucs are thinking they got their next Brady, lets hope he breaks an ankle tomorrow vs a real fucking team, get muscle already gang.
vs a real fucking team
One that has more Super Bowl wins than you do.
Perhaps you and @pennywise can spend the evening pegging each other watching highlights of how y’all shit the bed in the last Super Bowl.
