“Look, no, we’re not in the market [for a new head coach,]” Barber said. “We’ve won three straight division titles. I get the feeling that change is not coming. Change is coming for a lot of teams, but I don’t think it’s [coming for Tampa Bay]. I’d say his seat is probably a little uncomfortable, but it ain’t hot.”
CHANCES BOWLES RETURNS?
“Pretty high. Pretty high. I’ll leave it at that,” Barber said. “I could be deadass wrong, but it’s pretty high. Who are you going to get?”
Bucs fans are cursed!
Who are we going to get?
Come on ronde
Rock Riley said essentially the same thing. He purports to have inside info from the Glazers camp. He didn't say he talked to a Glazer. But he seems to think basically the Glazers are willing to live with winning the division and having a home playoff game every year.
That's why, as I said on another thread, Licht has more incentive to get another head coach. He's the one who gets the players, and if a coach is mismanaging them and he's seeing players underperform then how much patience will he have? Licht will probably be the one to go to the Glazers and advocate for a change. Which will be tough for him because of the personal relationship between Licht and Bowles. It's time for Licht to take the next step and assert his authority over the situation.

Well, I mean . . according to some . . .it MUST be someone who fits the "optics?" Only so many, right?
wink, wink. . . nod . . nod
Its just "HOFer Speak" . . . pay no attention
I think there's are strong bonds between the cast of characters. They just don't operate like other teams. Normally, coaches are fired and move on.The new coach doesn't want a previous coach meddling in things, and the team usually wants to move on and start fresh with coaches etc. But look no further than the transition from Arians to Bowles as Exhibit A that a Bowles transition might be different than normal.“Look, no, we’re not in the market [for a new head coach,]” Barber said. “We’ve won three straight division titles. Does a new coach want the previous coach in the warroom on draft day? That would be different, but the Bucs are different. We'll see.
We need two new Edges, two new ILBs, new TE, new LG and new C. Stop blaming Bowles
Honestly, it doesn’t make sense, but it doesn’t surprise me.“Look, no, we’re not in the market [for a new head coach,]” Barber said. “We’ve won three straight division titles. The heat may not be high inside the building/organization…but the goodwill outside of the building - out here in the Buc fan zone - is waning. Even with fans who understand the consequences of changing head coaches.
I was just watching the part of the Buc show that is Raheem through Arians. The Glazers tone suggests they know they made a bunch of reactionary coaching moves that set the team back

Dude just stop. He's incompetent.
It wasn't the personnel that made him blitz at the end of the half vs the Panthers to give up a huge TD.
He just sucks

If you want to fire Bowles, fine. But Licht can’t get a 5th coach. He’s out too.
I really do think Ronde gave us the “insider” scoop on this. Neither Licht, nor Bowles, is going anywhere. The owners committed to a new policy and they won’t deviate.
Doesn’t (yet) matter if we fans disagree, they’re invested in an outcome regardless of performance.
