According to this loose cannon... http://www.tampabay.com/sports/football/bucs/bill-belichick-can-stake-claim-as-nfls-greatest-coach/2216073     He barely mentions the name on the Championship trophy. It's not just there because he died a long time ago, Mr. Jones...    Sorry, but Lombardi had 5 Championships in just 7 years, taking a 1-10-1 team to the Title game in just his 2nd year as HC, which was the only time he lost. Mr. Jones is ASSUMING Lombardi would have lost the playoff games they didn't have to play back in those days. I for one would NOT bet against Lombardi, ESPECIALLY in a playoff game!    How he discounts Shula so easily is another head-scratcher; ONE losing season in THIRTY THREE NFL seasons is so far ahead of any other coach it's surreal. Even his 2-5 record in NFL Championships is impressive in that he GOT THERE SEVEN TIMES.    Belichick is no question a top-tier coach, but not the best in my book...
