can’t imagine Jason or the Glazers thinking Todd is the guy in 2024 

so why not see what Canales has so you can rule him out in the trial run

I actually believe it would be more beneficial long term to leave Bowles & Co in charge for the remainder of this season.

They may win 1-2 more games = better draft picks.

the problem is they may just promote caneles anyway in offseason

Wouldn’t it be good to make sure that’s not a big mistake in season?

I think it is but we aren’t exactly the best run franchise nor do I think we will get top coaching options trying to join us

I mean I am not saying I want that, just staying a likely scenario we are all dismissing because he’s a brutal play caller at times.

Bucs likely considering this and it wouldn’t shock me at all with in season firing. If anything, I think Licht may be pushing it

Fire Bowles now or not until after the season.  Because next week is the Panthers.  If they beat the Panthers then you can't fire him after a win, or they lose the season's lost.  They lost to the worst team in football.  So do it now, or don't bother.

I think you mean it had little impact on the playoff math. This loss definitely had an impact on the teams chances. Barrett even said as much 

Atlanta defeating the Saints was big for the Bucs. Still only 1 game back in the NFCS which is the laughing stock of the NFL.

6 of 7. Nobody thinks we have a realistic chance

we maybe win 7, but that has me with projected a win over Carolina next week, the falcons and saints. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if we ended up 5-12; would you? 

It would be interesting to know what the Glazers are thinking right now. I would like to see them get a little more involved in getting the coach to start playing players who have been making plays over guys who haven't, and I say that as a guy that isn't really a fan of the Jones approach, only that sometimes you have to step in when no one else can or will. I'd also like to see them tell Bowles they want to see what Trask has with the reminder of the season because, even if we get into the playoffs, we aren't going anywhere. The remainder of the season needs to be about the future. The defense tends to start games fairly well, then starts getting dejected when the offense can't hold up its end of the bargain, and all hell breaks loose. I think Canales will eventually end up with a HC spot and I wouldn't necessarily mind him getting a few games to run the ship to see if he has it or not, but the Glazers just don't fire guys midseason.

But if we lose to the Panthers...how can the Glazers just keep going with Todd? You have to have a good selling point for season tickets, and that would probably cost them thousands of season tickets.
