If he isn't simply a DEI hire, then give a football related reason why he's here. Is it our putrid defense, that he's 100 percent responsible for? Is it never bringing the Jets to the playoffs? Is it having only one playoff win in his career, against an Eagles team that had completely collapsed? It must be those amazing division wins, coaching in the worst division in football over a four year period of time. We can, of course, just ignore that this team wouldn't have won any other division in the NFL, in any of the four years, other than our own. It must be his incredible in-game, and time, management. It must be getting his players to play hard, disciplined football. It must be the fact that he has never taken a team on a deep playoff run, ever.
So, since we know conclusively, from a football perspective, he isn't the right man for the job. And that there's nothing on his resume that supports the idea that he gives us any chance of winning a Super Bowl, then what remains?
This is a very unique period of time in human history, where people have been conditioned to avoid speaking the truth and believe they're actually doing something good. Todd Bowles was made coach of this team, and remains coach of this team, entirely based on the color of his skin. This is an objective, permanent fact. No football reason exists, and the gang of TV worshiping pussies who frequent this forum couldn't conjure one up in a million of their worthless lifetimes.

Look, the Glazers extended Licht a year ago, and then Bowles. How do you tihnk the conversation with Licht went after the season..... "Well Jason we gave you the extension and you lobbied for us to extend Bowles as well, and we did. Now just a short year later what do you think? Do you think we should fire Bowles and pay him a bunch of money because we made the mistake of listening to you? What do you think Jason?"
Licht isn't exactly on the hotseat, but this mess spills over onto him as well. The Glazers are sticking with Bowles simply because it's too soon to bail out on the committment they made last year, but don't think the Licht is coming out clean on this.
