More Licht, minus the crazy font
"I’m really, really excited, knock on wood, about getting to the season with Antoine [Winfield] and Tykee [Smith] as our two safeties, two playmakers, two guys that can blitz, two guys that are tough, two guys with great instincts, with great ball skills — that make plays with effort but also their athleticism,” Licht said. “I think it’s going to be night-and-day this year, our defense, compared to last year. I’m really looking forward to it.”
weird
Hopefully he doesn't leave Winfield late in game when it's out of reach again.
Smith at safety will be nice.
Hopefully he doesn't leave Winfield late in game when it's out of reach again
or "allow" Evans to play when he's injured lol

Godwin’s multiple ankle surgeries laughed at this.

Can't let the inmates run the asylum
except when they need a 1,000 yards . . . dont take a knee
It was a cool moment but if it backfired and we ended up losing... That falls on Bowles not Evans

Whats funny is that i guarantee you that Coen and others had to talk Bowles into it. You can see them pleading on the sideline.
Honestly, Evans getting that 1,000 yards meant more to me as a fan than us making the playoffs, which ironically even if we lost, we would have made playoffs.
Evans is Tampa Bay. Already on the mount Rushmore and would argue might take over the #1 spot as time goes on.
Realistically, i expected us to win our first playoff game against Washington. But despite beating both in the regular season, saw a loss in the second round to either Detroit or Philadelphia. Said another way, Superbowl was not in our sights given the lack of talent on defense.
Now let's say this year, we are 9-7, Evans needs some yards to break 1,000 heading into the last week....yeah i'll feel the same way. We'd have to be a juggernaut (similar to like 2021 season) for me to be okay with "resting" Evans and going against history

Not to mention that Bowles accepted a penalty unnecessarily the previous week that took yards off of the board for Evans. Hopefully the new game manager guy will help with that stuff.
That falls on Bowles
no way . . .lol
What are we debating here? The coach is the HEAD coach.
Baker and Evans don't get to make that decision without Bowles saying yes.
I think it's cool that Bowles did it, so I tip my hat for the gamble paying off BUT if it failed that's on Bowles.

And good on Bowles for realizing how atrocious he is with those decisions. I'd like him to focus on getting the defense up to speed with the offense and back to his well hidden blitz packages

that was brutal, like have some awareness Bowles...you clown.

It wasn’t really up to Bowles.
That falls on Bowles

Definitely not that, everything falls on Bowles. He's the HC. Totally agree.
Just laughing at the application. Bowles is bad for saying "yes" to Evans playing (hamstring) and then good for . . saying yes to Evans playing . . but ONLY because it worked out.
BUT if it failed that's on Bowles.
Same decisions, but first is bad, second is good because of the OUTCOME
:-)
