Greg Auman asked Todd Bowles why he didn't call a time out Sunday and took a delay of game penalty late against the Jets, making a field goal for Chase McLaughlin 5 yards longer (which we know was eventually blocked and returned for a TD).
Todd's response was, ""Chase is better between the 40 and the 50 than he is between the 30s."

McLaughlin's career kicking record:
30 - 39 yards = 94%
40 - 49 yards = 62%

Even with the cold, hard facts, there are still those among us that will gobble up the coach-speak.
In Bowles' defense, isn't there supposed to be someone making these decisions for him? Did the organization not hire someone whose sole purpose is this shit? WTF is up with that guy?
