BUT ONLY AN INSANE PERSON would look at that history and predict 2025 defense worse than heavily injured 2024. That makes no sense, as a prediction. The prediction has to be that barring a bunch of injuries again the defense is much more likely to be top 10 than not.

The problem is you don't have anyone that can pushback on Bowles and tell him that. Arians can and is willing to do it but he is a consultant and enjoying semi retirement.

he has to know he's on the hot seat and so you should expect nothing less than for him to do things his own way. He's 63 or whatever so he's not going to hand over defensive play calling or stop blitzing. He's going to lean in harder to who he is and what he believes.

It's amazing that we kept bowles or that anyone even defends the idea to keep him. Back then we were a super high percentage to make the playoffs. Like 95% or something. It stayed relatively high until mid December. We would have been destroyed either way even if we kept our cool up from that time. We all know how well our boy does in key games and when big challenges arrive. Don't know how an owner settles for that. Do the glazers even watch us play?

This is why I'm saying the glazers don't even watch us play. The injury and multiple division champ thing is not a valid reason if you watch this team play. Winning the division isn't a big deal... it's not been a very good division as any one that watches understands. Winston and lovie as hc the team could have had a shot at these divisions but wouldn't have mattered any different because both teams are getting smoked in round 1 because our hc sucks. Anyone that watches the team knows this. I don't think the glazers watch the team. Just a bunch of rich assholes that think owning a football team is just a show that your rich to other people. After watching several episodes of "Raise the Flags", it is evident to me that the Glazers ARE passionate and care about the Bucs.
That said, it makes it hard to understand why they can be such boneheads to keep Bowles as HC. SMFH. I DON'T GET IT. WHY?
