Brandon Graham - LB - EaglesEagles OLB Brandon Graham's roster spot may be in jeopardy.Graham, the 13th pick in the 2010 draft, played just 27 percent of the defensive snaps as a backup last season and proved to be a poor fit for the 3-4 defense. He registered just 19 tackles and three sacks and has only one year left on his rookie deal. The Eagles would likely look to deal Graham before simply releasing him. Philadelphia needs an edge rusher to pair with Connor Barwin.Source: Philadelphia Inquirer & Daily News Feb 19 - 5:14 PM
Yes please! Put his hand back in the dirt!
He has under performed, but he was my favorite player in the 2010 draft. If we could get him for a late round pick.....that would be awesome. Maybe the light would come on under Lovie Smith's tutelage.
imo he can be one of the best situational pass rushers in a 43 defense... https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/06/13/pass-rusher-profile-carlos-dunlap-and-brandon-graham/ a Clayborn/Graham rotation on the right side would be perfect for me!but with alot of needs, little cap space and only five picks in a good 2014 draft, i'm not sure we should make a trade...

The bucs have a decent amount of cap space not including any rollover. Add in there's several contracts they could easily dump or restructure, the bucs are fine for a few years if they don't go crazy in fa.
I would give them a call for sure. Can't hurt.
I loved Connor Barwin way back in the day. Was pushing for the Bucs to select him out of cin-c. Would rather have him!

He should be very cheap, and if they are really trying to get anything for him rather than cut him.....he should cost us more than a 5th or 6th. I know we only have 5 picks, but I'd take a 25 year old Brandon Graham over anyone we might get that late in the draft. I think he has a much better chance of contributing. At the very least he is an upgrade over Bowers as our rotational guy.
Idk sounds like another gabe carimi type situation to me. Pass

My thought exactly. Our biggest need on defense is a better scheme which uses our players to their strengthes and an edge rusher. I believe we'll have a better scheme and we can address edge rusher on the cheap in the draft. Our defense is talented but needs an identity.

So because Carimi didn't pan out we should be afraid to trade late round picks for high potential guys from now on? That seems pretty short sighted.
Yeah, I've never been the fan of him that JDub was back in the day, but I have no objections to the idea of spending a late round pick on him. Those are a complete crap-shoot anyways.
I'd tend to agree with JDub on this one. We need a DE/LB if for nothing else depth and Brandon Graham would be worth a look, but it would depend on the draft pick that Philly wants for him. I'd definitely jump for a 7th, I'd have to think a bit about a 5th. Maybe we could get him for a 2015 pick?

That would be ideal for a guy like Graham that hasn't lived up to expectations but still has a load of potential. Makes sense to do a future pick that could be as high as a 4th or as low as a 6th depending on what he does here in Tampa. Makes sense for both teams and is common when trading a young player that was recently considered to have great potential. IE Regis Benn, Gabe Carimi, Alex Smith, Eric Wright, Revis, Eugene Monroe, Jon Beason, Dante Rosario, Parys Haralson, ect.

No not saying that I'm just saying that you don't think it's possible that he's just not that good since youve seen him in college? How much have u watched him since he was drafted jdub? I live in pa so I've seen this dude play when he actually could get on the field.the eagles d hasn't been good in years why hasn't he cracked the lineup? I just font think he's that good that just my opinion tho.
