Brian Urlacher Thinks Bucs Will Win the NFC South by Nick John Aug 21 2014Dec. 23, 2012; Glendale, AZChicago Bears injured linebacker Brian Urlacher prior to the game against the Arizona Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium. Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY SportsWe all know former All-Pro and future Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher loves Lovie Smith. So it should come as no surprise that Urlacher, who played under Smith for the majority of his playing career in Chicago, thinks that Lovie is primed for great things with his new team…like winning one of the toughest divisions in football in 2014. On Fox Sports’ “The Big Catch”, the former Bear said the words that many Bucs fans are too afraid to say: “I think the Buccaneers will win the NFC South this year.” This is not the first bold prediction involving the Buccaneers for 2014. ESPN’s Herm Edwards believes that Tampa Bay will be in the Super Bowl come February, and face the Pittsburgh Steelers. It should be noted that Edwards has worked with both Lovie Smith and Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin in Tampa as assistants. If the Buccaneers are capable of doing what these guys predict, they haven’t shown it yet. Luckily for us, there’s plenty of football to be played.link
