I think our roster is very over rated, just look at your post "We have an All Pro running back and WR"No we don't, nobody at WR or RB on our roster has been All Pro.We have next to no depth, the oline needs blowing up, there is no edge rusher on the roster worth a dam & the top QB is a solid backup at best based on what he did this year.Sure we have some talent/pieces but so does EVERY team in the league.People look at the top 8-10 players and think "Damn they've got a good roster" but you get past that & it's a train wreck.

Knowing the PR boards, I can't tell the difference any longer.
Lions are very attractive because of their high-octane offense and solid DL. Anybody that thinks they can improve Stafford's mechanics will believe they can ride the offense deep into the playoffs with a little help on the back 7.
I disagree that we don't have a talented roster. We have a pretty good one, not a great, but good.The problem is how that talent is distributed and non-synergistic.We have a "pro bowl" RB -- probably the least important place on the roster to have a probowler.We have two "talented" safeties (Not dold on Goldson hence the quotes) which is not a priority in focusing talentWe have one elite CB and a few nobodies, which is exactly the reverse of how you want it in the modern leagueWe have two "great" WRs who are essentially carbon copies of each other and neither has any speed.We have a top DT in GMC, which is good, but the rest of the line is underwhelming. I'll go with coaching having a lot to do with that, but still....Really things don't complement each other well here, though I think the D could suddenly spring to life with the right coaching, one vet CB and a pass rusher.Claiming the OL isn't a mess though? Not sure what you're smoking there.

At 4-12 I don't know how you can be overrated. However, this team is not as bad as you say.It's coaching plain and simple. You got guys like leonard johnson and others who are just overmatchedand shouldn't be put in position to fail like they did. That's Schiano, who put this team together.

Let's look at the 6 coaches fired so far this season...how good are their QBs? Hmmm, wonder if there's a correlation between a coach getting fired and QB play. SMH..but hey, let's just go w/Glennon sucks!!! After all, he should've been an AP as a rookie!
