Every time I start to think the Tampa Bay Buccaneers need to do something dramatic at quarterback, the same thought pops to mind: Lovie Smith got to the Super Bowl with Rex Grossman. If he can do that, he can do the same with Mike Glennon. I'm not saying Glennon's the next Joe Montana. But I am saying he's as good as Grossman was in the 2006 season for the Chicago Bears. In fact, Glennon has more upside than Grossman ever did, and that might be enough to get the Bucs out of a drought in which they haven't won a playoff game since their Super Bowl victory more than a decade ago.

+1. That guy is such a nub. Hey lets set the bar at Rex Grossman guys!!! ???
... or articles from unemployed PR guys....Btw Glennon is already better than Grossman.
Is it April 1st already?

So true. The fact is, we don't really know what we have in Glennon yet but their is no QB in the draft that looks like he is any real upgrade. While Grossman is not what we are looking for we already have a QB that surpasses him from an arm strength and accuracy standpoint. If the Seahawks have reminded us anything it's that if the defensive side of the ball is solid than you can win big on that alone. Stop drooling over the QB spot, it's embarrassing and shows a lack of football understanding.

I'm pretty sure he lost, too
Seattle didn't need a franchise QB to win their Super Bowl. Glennon barring injuries and with some upgrades in coaches and on offense will have us in the playoffs very quickly.
Yea because why would u want to upgrade from rex Grossman?
Seattle didn't need a franchise QB to win their Super Bowl.
lolwut?
Wilson is about as franchise as it gets. The defense is great, but that shouldn't take away from what Wilson does. The Broncos shut down Lynch and held him to just 39 yards, but Wilson completed 75% of his passes for 2 TDs and zero turnovers. He also converted 2 important 3rd downs with his feet. The fact that he even got the Seahawks to the Superbowl with no #1 or #2 WR is pretty impressive.
