The Bucs suffered a disappointing 20-17 loss to the Dolphins, a game that highlighted the inefficiencies plaguing the team at every level.
On offense, the Bucs managed to score only 17 points, with Baker Mayfield throwing two interceptions and losing a fumble. It was a frustrating performance that left fans wanting much more.
Defensively, the Bucs allowed a rookie quarterback to throw for two first-half touchdowns—the first time a Dolphins’ rookie has done that since Dan Marino. Giving up 20 points in the first three quarters was a tough pill to swallow, and we can be grateful the Dolphins took their foot off the gas in the final quarter.
The special teams were equally underwhelming, giving up a blocked field goal, and when not kicking a kickoff into the end zone, allowing a return past midfield.
Even though we scored late in the game after it was already out of reach, it felt more like a consolation prize than a sign of hope. The coaching staff seems lost, and the players lack the consistency and urgency needed to compete at a high level.
Now, we must prepare for what will essentially be a play-in game next week. This team hasn’t shown any signs of being playoff-worthy in months, and I hope the Glazers are paying attention. If we collapse next week, it could go down as one of the biggest failures in the NFL in years. If that happens, it may be time to scrap the current structure and start fresh.
It’s not a matter of if, but most certainly when we lose next week
this team is pathetic and couldn’t beat a college team right now
These players do not trust their coaches. It shows.
I'll take it a step further. This team does not respect their coaches.
Reports out there that they will keep bowles. Huge franchise mistake. Especially after having Brady set up the winning culture they had with an easy division easy trips to the playoffs. How do the glazers not see this. Do this actually care about this franchise? You heard about man u fans all this time. I don't have faith in our owner's at all if they choose to keep this clown.
