An important and hopefully uniting thought- Guys, we all want the best for our team. We all want to be proud of our team. I gotta believe that none of us want players here that would actually do intentional awful things to other human beings. But for a few bad apples per large bunch, nobody here wants to win so bad that they don't care about character. Those who don't care are losers in life. Can we accept that? A real quick way to disrespect and turn someone off is to so quickly put them into that minority loser group. -Let's be civil. Let's try to be fair. I believe that people who want Winston like the player. I believe that people who want Mariota like the player.Neither is a crime! Whatever the ratio is, whether criminally/civilly/ in court of public opinion, for however many "guilty" people that are convicted, there are some that are unfairly convicted. That is real and factual information. When we write about someone and their reputation, let's consider the care in which you'd hope others would take about writing about you, especially if it is all public and effects both personal and business relationships. How many college and nfl players are getting away with things? Nobody truly knows. How many college and nfl players have their character assaulted so the media can drive traffic? Nobody truly knows. We do know that media is a competitive industry that profits from clicks, many times with little accountability for the stories that they create. No one here "knows" all the good and bad Jameis has done or will do. (Think to yourself, how much do you KNOW as fact.)We DO KNOW that many in media create stories. Despite the value of ones character and the harm of unjustly attacking it, some people don't care.Go ahead and be wreckless about the way you conduct yourself, but when it harms someone else, it's not right. It happens everyday in the media, but is it right? Is it fair? What if it were you?If you are comfortable with the act of furthering stories about someone that harm their character that **may be true, what does that say about you? Your actions..?Maybe part of the problem is that those critical people themselves don't put enough stock into personal character, and it's more important to them that they get their way / profit by creating stories that people read, regardless how true, regardless of the harm it may cause. Constantly attacking a guys character when you don't really know shlt is **factually quite low character behavior. -You have to live with your behavior as it is part of your life. Here's what we know: Low character people are critiquing others about *****possible bad character... Ok. See the irony here? What we DO KNOW, is that some boot licking losers will resort to just about anything when they see profit or feel under threat of not getting their way, even if it's at the expense of a young man's reputation. We can do better. We are not so different. We all want to win, the right way.Let's try to be fair and respectful so we can enjoy the fun debate.GO BUCS!!
