I said it before and I'll say it again. As a passer, Kap is no better than Mike Glennon. They are actually very, very similar as passers. The difference is that when things break down, or there is nobody open, or a free rusher comes flying through....Kap will scramble, buy time, and make a play. Glennon will take a sack or throw it into the dirt and we punt. That is a HUGE difference and some just don't seem to recognize that.
Well it isn't true and even if it was the problem is that you can beat the rush with decision making and not scrambling.
Both wide receiver and left tackle are extremely viable options at #7. It will just depent on talent. The Bucs could use a stud at both positions for the next ten years.

It is absolutely true and some times there is nobody open, so decision making alone can't convert the 3rd down and you punt.
while kaep has some faults, players like him certainly dont grow on trees. everybody wants a 250lb qb who runs a 4.3 and is pretty darned accurate.
DL, OL WR, CB, TE QB (project). I would love MLB and move Foster. Might go all in on D and wait until next year on the O if the cards fall right . Maybe pick up OG and Center in FA to get things started on the O project for next year.
I'd be cool with the OP's scenario....all except throwing away our 4th on Murray. That guy is a turd. We could could probably get a decent OL prospect instead.
If Murray were healthy he would go in the 2nd round. Own his rights, let him get healthy and seasoned under Tedford, and trade his ass for a 2nd next year. This pick is nothing more than an investment.
Who is the crack that will give you a 2nd round draft pick for a guy you drafted in the 4th?

Apparently that is what the Redskins are trying to do with Cousins.

Mallet hasn't seen much play, but I bet his asking price is more than a 3rd.
Only QB I can really think of in recent memory that was taken in the mid rounds (4th I believe) and was traded a few years later for greater value ( 2 2nd rounders) while barely playing was Schuab.

Schaub, Kolb, Cassel, Cousins, Flynn.....mentally I have dumped them all into the same bucket....lol
cousins is on the team that drafted him still. Kolb was a second rounder and was traded for a 2nd rounder and another player. Flynn was never traded. Casssel you got me on.
