NFL teams should scrutinize college QB's with poor, declining stats like the plague. There's no way that a QB with poor, declining stats can succeed in the NFL when facing far tougher competition than they faced at the college level. The fact is, it is only going to get harder for a QB who showed that they can't post top-tier stats at the college level. For example, let's say you're the Bucs and you hold the #1 pick. Now take a look at these college stats for comparison (ranked by completion percentage) and decide which QB you'd choose:QB #1: 795 of 1184 (67.1%) for 8,435 yards, 74 TDs/35 INTs (INT rate of 2.9%)QB #2: 779 of 1167 (66.7%) for 10,796 yards, 105 TDs/14 INTs (INT rate of 1.2%)QB #3: 661 of 995 (66.4%) for 9,285 yards, 88 TDs/16 INTs (INT rate of 1.6%)QB #4: 562 of 851 (66.0%) for 7,695 yards, 65 TDs/28 INTs (INT rate of 3.2%)QB #5: 613 of 1169 (52.4%) for 7,659 yards, 52 TDs/34 INTs (INT rate of 2.9%)So you're making your draft board for this year. Rank these 5 QB's available to be drafted and let me know what order you would pick them.
