Spotrac is also saying the $30M guarantee is for the 2027 season.
What Spotrac isn't accounting for (that I brought up to you while you were crying that there was no way we could re-sign Godwin and keep everybody), is that the Bucs converted $13 million of salary for 2026 into a bonus. This increased Mayfield's 2025 salary cap number by $2.6 million and decreased his 2026 cap number by $10.4 million.
