The Chiefs play in a pretty crappy division!!!! The NFC South is considerably tougher...
ummm, you are aware that the AFC West put 3 teams into the playoffs this year, right? CHIEFS, BRONCOS, CHARGERS.
Why, yes I am...but if you review the Chiefs Schedule, you will see they where a FRAUD all year long...they were swept by the Broncos, the Chargers, and the Colts...they ONLY Teams they played that had records above .500
The Chiefs also field 8 Pro-bowlers. They are no fraud. They beat the teams they were supposed to beat. The Broncos are arguably the very best team in the NFL (possibly one of the best teams in NFL history) and they rested their starters in the season-ending games against the Chargers and Colts (and came a missed field goal away from beating the Chargers WITH THEIR BACKUPS!!!).
Great, the Chiefs field 8 Pro-Bowlers...how many did they have last year whent they won...what 2 games? And let's not get carried away with "best team in NFL History" for the Broncos...they haven't even won a playoff game. 6 of their 13 wins came against teams with a .500 or above record (TWO against the Chiefs) The played 4 playoff teams this year, the Colts (L), the Chargers (Split), the Eagles (W) and the Patriots (L). So let's hold off on the accolades...and you can say what you want about the Chiefs...they have been questioned all year long...Peyton is quite possibly the Greatest Regular Season QB of all time though...
If this team gets to 9-7, it will be a major, major accomplishment.
If we should have won 6-8 games this year with our talent level as most have proclaimed, then winning 9 next year should not be a major, major accomplishment with the new coaching staff and the expected improvements to personnel.

It's not spin, man...it is in black and white.Granted the we and Falcons stunk it up this year...the proof is in the pudding...but you would you rather have your team in the AFC West or the NFC South?
The Chiefs brought in coach Reid who brought his screen O with him; the Bucs bring in O-coordinator Tedford who likes the screens as well; Yes, the Bucs are next years Chiefs.
