who is that?
http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2013/10/joe_cullens_intensity_and_enth.html "Twenty-three years of coaching has not dulled his exuberance or attention to detail. “Some coaches who were most influential to me were high-energy guys,” Cullen said. “Positive, but very intense. I’ve just carried that over throughout my career. I equate the (defensive line) position to a heavyweight fighter.“When Mike Tyson got ready for a fight, he got ready for a fight. He didn’t go half speed through anything . . . It’s the same way with these guys. You can’t show up on game day and expect to play that way.”
I like it. I wanted Rod M, but after Dallas blocked our interview and we hired Leslie to be DC, I pretty much moved on from that prospect.

WTH???
The Jags in 3 season with Joe Cullen never ranked higher than 26th in sacks. They finished 30th, 26th, and 32nd. Now that has a lot to do with talent too, but that has me a little worried. Maybe this is just a one year stopgap until we can hire Rod Marinelli once his contract is up in Dallas.
LOLOL
I remember that drive thru story, didn't know this was him . . . there's a Burger King right down the street from OBP
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, sent letters to pro and college teams vouching for the coach’s efforts to restore his reputation after the drive through incident and based on articles Cullen has not had a drink in more than seven years - he also uses his past substance abuse problems to help others especially football players - from everythign that ahs been written he does not seem to try and run and hide from it - but rather deal with it head on and with full disclosure.
The Jags in 4 season with Joe Cullen never ranked higher than 26th in sacks. They finished 30th, 26th, 32nd and 32nd over the last 4 years. He was in Cleveland last year not Jax and they finished 16th for what that's worth
Rod Marinelli's DL coach when he was HC in Detroit.
Well Marinelli recommended him so I am fine with this, and I keep reading on twitter how good of a coach he is, not that much talent on that Browns line this year and in past years, he has a boatload of talent to work with this year

Good point
we got lovie and frazier so our defense should now be set regarldess of the rest of the positional coaches. So long as theyre all competent, and NFL experience works for me
