Under 2 minutes, the offense can’t advance its own fumble. It prevents fake “fumbling” the ball forward on 4th downs/end of game situations.

i think it was like a super old rule where people would fumble on purpose and bat the ball upfield to advance it
Defense has at least shown up....I've been in and out of the room on 1-2 first down plays, but it seems every single one that I've seen has been some variation of a dive play with the exception of the one sweep to the right. Do we have a tally on the first down dive to pass play ratio ?
