I just wanted to take a moment to debunk the often repeated comment that if the Bucs fire Lovie, no one would want to come here. To start, it is well known that any coaching position in the NFL requires fast results or you risk your job.  HC's, OC's, DC's and every position coach.  There really are no exceptions.  If you talk to most coaches, they know three years without results is a blessing, but two years (or less) is the norm.Next, when coaches look at a HC position, sure the ownership and previous treatment of coaches is factored in, but if it is high on the HC's priority list, then we probably don't want that HC anyways.  Why would you want a guy who is more concerned with protecting his butt then winning? What they (potential HC's) do look at is the condition of the football team and how ownership helps them with that.  A good example, JJ is considered a good owner, but if you want to have final say on the draft, you're not going to Dallas as the HC. While in Tampa, the owners let the GM and HC make all football decisions.  But I think the biggest draw to any potential new HC is Winston himself.  Especially if he continues to improve, there would be offensive minded HC's salivating at the chance to work with Winston.  Add in Martin, Evans and a young and improving O-Line.  ASJ is a bonus if he can get healthy.  Lets look at the teams that could be looking for a new HC this off season.1) Texans - Ryan Mallet? Really?  Enough said. They are drafting a QB with their #1 pick. Is there a QB in the draft even close to what Winston has shown so far?2) Detroit - Stafford? A decent choice maybe, with the right offense, but I think most would take Winston over Stafford.  may also be moving on from Stafford.3) Titians - The have Mariota, who could be a new RG3 and they won't be allowed to draft a new QB. I'd be wary.  Depends how he finishes the year though.4) Cowboys - Possible win now situation but they are getting over the hill fast. And then there is JJ.5) 49's - That place is in total meltdown. Would Kap be forced on the new coach?6) Redskins - QB situation is a total joke.  Add in Schieder. So just looking at the teams that may be looking for a new HC, and looking at the whole picture, where would you rather coach?  I think Tampa would be a sweet spot, especially for an offensive minded coach.  It may be used in negotiations to get an extra dollar or two, but it certainly is not a hindrance to finding a new HC.
