What I would do, surely not what Lovie will do....Resign Martin, and keep Vjax (discounted is possible)Bring in a pass rusher or two. Vernon, Williams, and JPP make the most sense. Assuming after more surgeries JPP's hand doesn't look like a melted bag of tootsie rolls anymore. Sign Eric Weddle and Janoris Jenkins. I'd love Norman, but that ain't happening. Adding two DB's and two pass rushers really frees up our draft board. We have the money, and IIRC Lovie said himself that if they aren't spending up to the cap, they aren't trying to win.....or something like that. Who knows, Lovie lies a bunch.....Draft:1. Ronnie Stanley OT ND6-5 315I'm going to pass on the DE's as they don't carry the value of a top 10 pick and are a reach. I am also going to devalue the remaining CB's as Hargraves and Ramsey will be gone and the others are a reach at 9. Stanley is a top 10 talent and will further strengthen the one thing that is working for us. Protect the QB, and open up holes. It all starts in the trenches, and Stanley, although less of a need, is a better player than Ogbah or King, or McKenzie. (I am also devaluing all corners due to Lovie) Put him at RT, or kick Smith inside. Either way adding a blue chip tackle is never a bad move. (I've seriously thought about Treadwell here, but I am not sure he is top 10 material)2. Noah Spence DE Eastern Kentucky6-3 252On tape he is as good as any other DE in this draft. I've watched, he has a spin move, a swim, and a bull rush. The speed, power, and first step are all there. Projected anywhere from 1st to 3rd...grabbing him here is a fair deal. Walter has him rated as the #22 DE......BS! Saint Lovie likes to be that "father figure"....here ya go Lovie, clean him up! Lord knows dropping a little X at the club with some freaky chicks will ruin your career.... http://youtu.be/S68wjetIcT4 3. Rashard Higgins WR Colorado State6-2 190My bromance with Higgins isn't hidden. He is a complete WR. Speed, routes, hands....the "anti-Evans" so to speak. When Dye is your #2 you have serious issues. Keep VJ, and let Higgins and Bell fight it out for 3 and 4. Adding another target and weapon to take another step toward an elite offense to counter Lovie's inept defense. His Scouting reports read like a top 10 pick, but he is mocked in rounds 3-4. I love this vid, you can tell he has the same infectious charisma as Jameis. http://youtu.be/ubraCu1scLw 4. Dorian Thompson S Boise Conte? Really?.....I love me some Jeremy Cash. The guy is super gritty and plays with lots of heart, but I think he'll go in the third, and I think Thompson is a better fit. We just don't need to bring in another hard hitting box safety. Thompson is a ballhawk, and turnovers are better than big hits. http://youtu.be/Fb2m6gYuFMA 5. DJ White CB GT5-11 185Mocking late round picks is a crapshoot. You never know who is falling where. But I'm putting White here. I like scrappy playmakers, guys with heart that love the game. He fits the bill. http://youtu.be/eja6EVq077Q 6. Matt Brieda RB Georgia Southern Holy (censored) can this kid run. This team sooooo desperately needs a speed element. Rainey, Martin, Sims, James....not one of them is a home run threat. Dump Rainey and or James and add a new element to our monotonous backfield. Was a junior this year, rumor is he will  declare. With Jameis in place we need to be adding to his arsenal every year. I haven't seen him mocked or projected despite the rumors, but small school RB's rarely go too high, especially the small ones. If Lovie liked Demps, he'll love Brieda. http://youtu.be/ddtOxf-It74 6. Bronson Kaufusi DE BYUTotal sleeper pick. Due to commitments to the Mormon church, the development of Bronson Kaufusi was delayed, which is a big reason why his stock is somewhat low at the moment.  Based on physical ability though, this kid looks like another Ezekiel Ansah.  He’s big and long enough for defensive end but retains enough athleticism, quickness and awareness for outside linebacker. He’s shown he can not only rush well but do so from multiple angles, making him far more versatile.  When he uses his hands and long arms properly, it’s very difficult for blockers to stop him.  The more he cuts down on hesitation, the better he gets.  - Erik Lambert- Fansided http://youtu.be/7s0KiubyLvA So that's 4 DE's and 4 DB's at the end of the day. A Blue chip tackle, a legit #2 WR, and a speedy RB/KR/PR. I'll take it!
