Can someone please make the draft Carr in any round discussion stop. He would be a nice free agent pick up but please, please, please dont draft him.
Not really sold on Carr either but come on if he was there in rounds 4-7 you really wouldn't take him? lol

Too many other needs and competition for a second year QB should be addressed through FA in my opinion. I haven't seen many QB's in the modern era with less upside than Carr. Not a fan.
Great thread.Would read again.

Seriously dude...There's plenty to not like about the guy, but to say there's no upside to a mobile, accurate, rocket-armed QB is about as ignorant as the Arizona State Legislature.

It's the time of the season for crazy hyperboles.

Based on what you are saying he should be gone by the time we draft so we dont have to worry about him.

This confuses me... are you insinuating he will go un-drafted???
I cant think of a worse way to kick off an era than by spending a top 10 pick on the 3rd (high side) best QB in a crappy class.
...or you figure our OC knows what he can and can't do better than anyone else so they have the "inside" scoop and if they select him they know what they are getting. Unlike Morris and his insider view of Freeman you have to hope Lovie and Tedford are competent. N

Competent or not, Carr is not a first round pick. Taking him there, when he would be available in the 4th or 5th round would just be dumb.
4th or 5th round?
4th or 5th round?
I am hearing that the Steamers are thinking about taking him in the 2nd but if you follow that franchises evaluation then even more reason to stay away from Carr.
How many threads are you going to make stating your same tired opinion?
Texans will take him first pick in the 2nd round.
