Do we know for sure Murray doesn't have that good of an arm? I really wish he was healthy enough to throw at the Combine so scouts could get a look at him directly compared to the other guys, but he did a lot of down the field passing in college. He's had very good YPA's the past two years.

I've not seen any  reports claim he has NFL level arm and watching him his arm didn't look that good.

Playing against SEC defenses for 4 years and leaving the conference leader in most passing categories tells me a lot.

College passing and NFL passing not the same thing. We know that.  Tebow was a good passer vs SEC defenses. McCarron passed on the SEC defenses as wwell. He and Shaw both had higher QB ratings than Murray did last year for example.

Im not saying its the "end all be all" that he was in the SEC.  But at the same time he left it as one of the best QBs in conference history, that cant really be ignored.  I would take Zach or Aaron in the 4th any day of the week, and twice before taking Carr at 7.

I really wish mettenberger didn't have the ACL injury, I really like him. Maybe we should still draft him and give him a year to heal while we continue Glennon's audition.

I have a strong feeling that Carr or Jimmy G will be Bucs.  if not, Bortles, Manziel or Bridgewater.I personally would be surprised if the Bucs drafted any QB not from this list.

I could also see Murray/Mettenberger if we get to the 4th and have not picked one.

Muray/Mettenberger are not beating out Glennon.

IMHO neither are Carr or Jimmy G.  Grabbing either Aaron or Zach would give us 2014 to look at Glennon but possibly have our guy in 2015 without having to draft another.

If Glennon isn't your guy you take a QB in 2015 which will be an even better class.

What makes you think we'll be in a position to draft a top QB next year?

I wouldn't draft Carr, so that means he'll probably be amazing.

i kind of like him so my bad juju washes yours.  Since we both can't be wrong he will probably be somewhere in the middle.

It usually takes a year for a coach the caliber of Lovie to turn things around.

Well if Schiano can win 4 games, it seems pretty likely Lovie will be able to win at least 6 or 7, putting the Bucs around the #13 pick or so.
