Tampa Bay Bears
I actually remember him; tough CB to deal with. And he's Jairus Byrd's daddy; didn't know that! Could we have a family reunion in Tampa Bay???
I really wish we didn't sign Goldson and could bring this guy's son in at safety this year instead.
Seriously, we ought to sign Byrd anyway and use Goldson as a third safety when we pull the SLB. Or just move Goldson to LB. Expensive, but that's the GM's problem...
NDY good job thanks
The Bucs really need to hire a new Media Director and fire every damn photographer in the building.
So the only position coach left to fill still should be te coach and oline right?
Jarius Byrd's dad?Wow.. Come play for your dad

Yep, and supposedly O'line has been decided on; Tony Sparano. I'm lobbying for Tony Gonzalez for our TE coach, as he's likely to retire...
Nope, Sparano staying with Raiders, signed 2 yr deal

LOL; I see Gil's still got that intensity about him from when he played. Real fiesty guy...

I literally just laughed out loud at this!
Byrd has played the 2013 season on the franchise tag, valued at $6.916 million this season. The Bills could, in theory, tag him again in 2014, but that would be an expensive proposition. According to NFL.com, "a player tagged a second straight year would have his number set at 120 percent of the previous figure."That would mean that Byrd would cost roughly $8.299 million for the 2014 season. With roughly $15.5 million in cap space currently available according to Spotrac, the Bills would be parting ways with over half their spending money for next season. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1901647-are-we-seeing-the-last-of-jairus-byrd-with-the-buffalo-bills
