If this was any other QB than Tom Brady overthrowing receivers as much as Brady has in this championship game, he would be getting thrashed.
On a side note, how annoying is it when people engage in a discussion, reach an impasse where both should agree to disagree, and one decides to drop the "That's what I thought" bomb.
I'm not sure. Possibly as annoying as giving a BS answer like "The point where he does it".When you choose not to cop out and answer the question, let me know. I'm guessing you initially thought the face mask was "grabbed and pulled" and after re-watching you saw it actually wasn't. That's why you chose to cop out and not answer the question I asked.
Okay, let's extend this inane discussion a bit more, shall we?Your question was quote: At what point in the play do you see the receiver "grabbing and pulling" the face mask?My answer: the point where he does it.My answer is in direct reply to yours. I "see" when it happens. ( I have added the quotation marks for a emphasis in this quotation.). It is a simple reply to a simple question. Now, if I had the misfortune of watching this game in person with you, with a DVR assisted rewind, I would gladly rewind and point out exactly at what point it happens. However, since we are not sharing a screen, and the play lasts all of a few seconds, I welcome you to view it on your own and see or not see it for yourself. I am assuming by your use of quotation marks on the "grabbing and pulling" part of your post, you saw it and then wanted to amend your argument to say it was not pulled "enough" to warrant a flag (you would be wrong.) If that is the case, say it. I would disagree, but have the marbles to say it. To sum up this drawn out nonsense, I agree with the refs for not calling PI, because there were fouls on both sides, it is a Championship game, and they should let the players make plays.

WR didn't even know the ball was coming-- to busy slow dancing with the CB...

Yup.But people don't like to remember that Brady hasn't won a Super Bowl in 10 years

lol
Anyone who doesn't want to see captain Deliverance holding another Lombardi better hope SF wins later. If Seattle wins you might as well not even play the game
Now Manning with overthrow. Both guys have missed big plays today. Difference with Peyton making a lot more small/medium plays than Brady.
Pats still in it.

Are you doing the same thing with Manning you bash JDouble for doing with Glennon? Seems a bit hypocritical, Doc.

...and the idiot LB dances after making a tackle 12 yards downfield in the fourth quarter of a 28 to nothing beat down....
if you factor in regular season, Peyton's methodical approach on offense almost always has helped him get it done against great defenses while guys like Brady and Brees struggle. Against the Hawks or 49ers, I would like AFC's chances with Peyton even with those somewhat less talented Colts teams near 2010.
Blount not very involved in the game plan today because the Pats game plan involves lots of passing.Could it be because Blount is still a one trick pony....yeah it is.
Brady pulling a Tebow.
Brady pulling a Tebow.
Nah, Tebow gets the two-point conversion.
