If Licht finds one stud starter in the draft in 4 weeks, Tampa wins 11 games and we win the south.
What I find funny are the posters who don’t want the team to succeed. Robinson is a damn good OC and will find the best way to use Baker’s skill set to energize the entire compliment of our skill players. Go ahead and assume our D will be just as crippled and delinquent as they were last year, and maybe they will, but I find it hard to believe.
I am not so sure about that.
Bucs need to draft competent players and sign more free agents post draft then the Bucs can win 10 games. Bucs don't have the horses or coaching staff to win 11 games even if Mayfield balls out.
The most Bowles team can win is 10 games and the most Robinson has guided his teams has been to 8 win season as an OC with the Falcons. So this team is destined to be 8 to 10 win team but right now they are clearly in the 8 wins column until they added more talent through the draft and free agency.
If you think the Falcons lack of success was on Robinson, I will say, welcome to Tampa because Raheem had a stint here that couldn’t have been more forgettable.

I think Alldaway does think that. Just going off prior posts.
I would think (and certainly hope) more on the QB situation.
I will call BS on this take all day long. So you think one "stud starter" is going to net Turd Bowles more wins in a singular season than he's ever managed to win in a single season? That is laughable. Bowles averages 6 wins per season across his 9 or so seasons as a head coach. He's reached double digit wins in only 2 out of those 9 seasons. Last year's record is more likely the ceiling for him as he is statistically one of the worst head coaches in the NFL. This organization has no good reason to retain him after this season unless he blind squirrels it up and finds a nut (meaning winning the SB).If Licht finds one stud starter in the draft in 4 weeks, Tampa wins 11 games and we win the south.
The Falcons defense bailed out the Falcons O more often than the Bucs defense bailed out the Bucs offense the last two years. It is just a reality.
If Morris was in charge of the defense and Coen was the HC/OC the Bucs could win 10 games. But now that Morris is the DC for the 49ers and Shanahan is the HC and OC the 49ers are primed to win at least 10 games.
Just like Bowles, Licht's window is closing in TB!
I love that all the threads on the board are just optimism vs pessimism 95% of the time 😂
All the takes seem to be some extreme version of those mindsets

Since 1995, the Buccaneers have won the Super Bowl more than the Cowboys, Niners, Bills, Lions, Cardinals, Bears, Panthers, Bengals, Browns, Jags, Texans, Vikings, Raiders, Chargers, Dolphins, Jets, Commanders, and Titans COMBINED. Yet some ninnies on here will wake up every day and bitch non-stop. Think about how miserable their lives are.

So much so that a middle of the road take is the outlier.
Some of that is just trolling (the Pennywise Principle), but I think some of that has to do with human nature and even an inability to express beyond sort of a monolithic "good" or "bad." The norm is not "reasonable" shades of grey, it is pick one view and then describe everything in terms conforming with that view, even when thats not even close to reality. That is especially true of Bowles, as he is sort of a lightning rod even beyond most HCs
Here is an easy example right from this offseason:
The Bucs lost TWO Hall of Famers, LVD and Evans.
One HOFer, Evans, has been mostly quiet on leaving BUT it is the "truth" on these boards to many that Evans left because of Bowles (Bowles alos killed Tom Brady, btw). Because Evans is mostly silent, that "truth" is inferred from the circumstances of lesser money, 3rd and 28 etc. That "truth" may be actual truth, but Evans has not said that it is the truth and the Bucs (Licht) have denied it out right.
It is still THE "truth."
The second HOFer, Lavonte David, explicitly and unequivocally stated that the would not have come back without Bowles. And, in his farewell stated that even in his final season he was still learning from Bowles things he didn't understand about defense/
And yet, for much of the Red Board the "truth" is Bowles killed Evans and is a HC who "cannot develop players." That is the very human way that actual facts are used to conform with pre-existing view rather than to inform a nuanced anlysis. Lavonte David's actual words ignored or dismissed as "player speak" lol versus piecing together reality from circumstances.
HUMAN NATURE . . . amplified in the context of sports and then twisted like taffy into an extreme ona. football message board because of trolling and insecurity and anger and. . .
middle of the road the outlier . . . . scorn worthy outlier in many cases lol
RIGHT ON CUE . . .in today's coverage this from Licht after he was asked how the team reacts to what Evans departure might say about the state of the team
"I will say that I don’t want to get too deep with the conversations that we had. I don’t necessarily think that it’s because he thought it was a better situation [in San Francisco]. OK, so, you know, he made a decision to begin a new chapter, but I don’t know if it was because he thought it was a better situation."
Player speak for LVD and GM-speak for Licht :-)

yes it’s simple, we just need to continue to get GOATs to win. So let’s suck for another decade until its time for Mahomes to join us

yeah outside of 2018 to 2021, Licht has been pretty mediocre at best

The Bull was not a GOAT lol.
Last year you had them as a Super Bowl contender at 6-2. Mayfield is a GOAT?

I hear that Flacco will be available in 5 years for the Bucs SB run.
Licht doesn't sound cooked to me. Joel Glazer
"Last season started out great, didn’t end so well. Obviously, we were disappointed. Obviously our fans are disappointed. But there’s always a little more to it, you know. Every team has injuries but there were significant injuries last year at significant positions. And, a lot of close games down the stretch didn’t go our way. But we’re trying to build a championship team and you can try and throw a dart every year, or you can try to build a Super Bowl winning team. And we feel like we have a great team and we’re constantly building, building, building — adding to the foundations of what we have. And if you look at our roster, look at our team, we think we’re great in a lot of spots, but like a lot of teams you have to add. Obviously, ultimately the head coach is the one who has [the won-loss record] fall at his feet, but I know Todd is very respected in the locker room and nobody wants to win more than Todd."
