I am not sure but he was probably dicussed as potentila MVP when he returned (based on his stature aline), but by midseason Brady is not in most MVP discussions.

DH and I were definitely referring to the non forgettable Brady years so 2020 and 2021 where we were legit Super Bowl contenders
but to be honest even the 2022 year came with the Brady appeal and “we’d be scary if we got in”
we were clearly pretenders in 2022 as we have been the entire mayfield era
but as I have said before, give me pretenders over what we’ve been pre Brady

of all the great things Brady did (and there were many) his greatest might have been getting so much production out of AB given what we now know about AB, unfortunately.
