Bonitto is having a great year for them. Ellis is outplaying our guy though, and the arrow is pointing up for him moving forward as a young player. We really haven't seen any glimpses of hope with Braswell. Even bust Noah Spence showed flashes of some edge prowess. I think we ought to draft another EDGE again until we get the need filled.Braswell has not looked good and hardly playing yesterday is definitely concerning but Jonah Eliss is not only a very good football player in his own right, meaning no credit taken away (who was drafted in the 3rd round, I thought?), but the Broncos defense is heading toward 60-65 sacks? League leading.
The 2nd round pick, Bonitto, already has double digit sacks or close
Prefer a trade for Crosby but I doubt that's happening next year.
Seems like the Bucs drafted a developmental player in the SECOND ROUND. He may turn out to be a good player 1-2 years down the line, but I believe you're looking for instant impact in rounds 1 and 2.
Braswell played a whopping 6 snaps against the Chargers.
Licht has been solid in the draft but he is profoundly dumb in the 2nd round most of the time and even worse evaluating edge pressure.

not trying to defend Licht but I wonder if some of the edge flops are on Bowles? I say that because Bowles doesn’t use them like traditional edges. I noticed on the INT play that JTS isn’t rushing he is faking it to draw the tackle out. If you watch him he has really limited straight rushes.
Brasswell presumably drafted for that role. Earlier this season Bowles commented like he has to learn to stop the run first. The Chargers basically abandoned the run. Is that who he wasn’t on?
Hard to pass any judgement on Braswell yet. He’s hardly played. Is that indicative of his lack of progression, or Bowles’ known stubbornness to make personnel changes? The world may never know.
Licht has had plenty of dud pass rush picks, Braswell is just the latest
Bowels does ask his ends to only play the run but be able to drop into zone coverage. Braswell is definitely looking like a project from the way things are going. Then again Hall is just a few sacks shy of having the team lead in sacks so you never know how players develop at different time tables.

Tykee Smith hasn’t had any problems getting on the field as a third rounder. But the second rounder can’t find playing time? I’m guessing it’s because he isn’t very good and not some other agenda from Bowles.
