We know that he has been tagged but they have until some time in july to still rework a longer term contract that could push his 2021 cap hit down into perhaps 5 million.
With the cap going up next year, he wouldnt have much incentive, however, they could guarantee a great deal of money if he came off the tag and signed another contract.
Anyone have an opinion on the likelihood of this?
