Pass. Still think he's a bum that will lose interest once he gets paid. As the 3rd pick he'll get around $20M, all guaranteed....and he'll pull an Aaron Curry.
The GM with the nads to pass on him will soon be fired
The GM who picks him will soon be fired if I am right about him zoning out once he gets paid. It's a risky business. If he somehow fell to us at #7 and we drafted him....I'd be 100% behind him and be really excited and cross my fingers and toes that I am wrong and he is the stud everyone says he is. I just don't get a good vibe from him and I wouldn't take him if it were my job on the line.

Just curious(because honestly you seem like a huge troll) who are the guys you see as being better players than Clowney in this draft.

That should be a very quick answer. I wasn't a fan of how he tip-toed thru this season but the guy's talent is undeniable and the more i think about it the more i don't see him lasting past pick 2.
Clowney with Hardy's foot in his ass would be a double digit sack guy in year one.
And yes I know hardy wouldn't be his position coach

So who do you see as being better? That was the question
I agree. Which would be incredibly stupid imo. Why take a guy that is considered by many to be a once in a decade DE prospect with the #1 pick....and then play him at LB?
Price controls in the new labor agreement as you know JDouble - money isn't an issue for this kind of excellence.
But it's not just about Clowney's salary. Watt is only making $1.9 million for 2014 and then is a free agent in 2015. He's going to be getting a huge raise.
All the more reason to draft Clowney. See how he does next season, and let Watt walk if necessary.

WILL NEVER HAPPEN

Fans said that about Mario also. Its all about the $$$$$
Just like about every other NFL team, if they decide they want to keep both they will find a way financially.
They would be paying Clowney small change on his rookie deal and paying Watt boatloads.. I'm sure they would survive that.

Survive, yes. But lets just say Clowney turns into Watt v2. They could trade him for multiple draft picks, and avoid paying him 80mil or whatever. And then they have Clowney on board for pocket change for 3-4 years.
Lol. So glad we didn't trade the world to move up and take this turd.
