It's a three-minute video. Among other things, Cole states that during his visit to N.Y. to see Goodell, Winston was joined by his attorney, David Cornwell, and his agent. In attendance representing the NFL was NFL executive VP and general counsel, Jeff Pash, NFL PR guy, Greg Aiello, executive VP of communications, Paul Hicks, and Lisa Freil, who handles domestic violence issues for the league. Winston's people gave Freil the Winston file from his past FSU incidents, as an "olive branch" to the league.Gil Arcia is the only who has written about this so far. I'm including his article below.Video interview: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2408630-insider-buzz-nfl-background-check-on-winston-will-be-most-thorough-in-history * * * * * http://tam.scout.com/story/1531375-nfl-investigating-jameis-winston A report states that the national football league has begin their investigation in Jameis Winston's background. This was eventually coming. The National Football League has started their investigation in Jameis Winston's background, per Jason Cole of Bleacher Report. The league reportedly has Winston's file and will be researching it thoroughly and fact check their findings. Winston's recent meeting with commissioner Roger Goodell included a sit down with others like league council Jeff Pash and spokesman Greg Aiello according to Cole.Cole also notes in his story that the teams that have done their investigation -- like the Buccaneers -- have concluded their investigations and that is why the NFL is is now taking their turn to look into the potential No. 1 draft pick's background. On Wednesday, Goodell spoke once more about his meeting with Winston."We were incredibly clear about our expectations about anybody who is with the NFL or enters the NFL and what we expect of them as men and how they represent, not only their franchise, but also the NFL," Goodell said at the league's annual meetings. "We gave him a full insight into our personal conduct [policy] and the reasons for it, as well as our resources. He met with several people. The conversation was very candid. It was extremely candid. I think this is a young man who understands this responsibility, and now it's up to him to live to that."You can see Cole's report below in it's entirety. BucsBlitz.com reached out to the league to confirm the story but we have not received a response.* * * * *Cole spoke about Winston yesterday at the annual meetings. He thinks the Bucs will take Winston and discusses Winston's lack of judgment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDCcnQpqR4A
