I think it shows refs are dumbasses. No conspiracy in that.
I laughed.
It goes in circles. Which is exactly why conspiracy theories can never be absolved without physical conformation. However, science is a slow process, and many theories start with imagination of unseen forces. I find the world conspiracy redundant, because all theories have someone conspiring to do something to maintain their work.
What does 9/11 have to do with any of this? That's fine if you want to write off 9/11 conspiracies. But saying that one conspiracy theory is false, therefore all conspiracy theories are false is idiotic. The word "conspiracy" exists for a reason.
Did I say it did? Derp, derp, derp? No I didn't, but you brung up conspiracy theories and I thought the video was funny. Take the tampon out Mr.Martin...
I didn't bring up conspiracy "theories". I brought up one related to the NFL Championship Game. Usually when someone posts a topic on a message board, subsequent replies are in response to the original topic. Derp, derp, derp. By posting a 9/11 video on a NFL conspiracy thread, one has to assume that the two topics are connected. But they are not. There's lots of funny videos on YouTube. Why not post those, too?
Maybe games are rigged. However this video was clearly made by a butthurt 49ers fan.
I completely agree this form of conspiracy is called cherry picking which I noted above.Cherry-picking happens when someone deliberately selects from a wide variety of material only those items which support the conspiracy theory, while ignoring and discarding those which don't. When this carefully chosen selection of material is then presented as a whole, it easily misleads people into thinking that the conspiracy theory is supported by evidence.
Refs make bad calls all the time. But go watch that entire game again. The overwhelming majority of the bad calls were made in Seattle's favor. That's not cherry picking. And the delay of game call mistake... there's no excuse for that one. None.
Somebodies whackin it at 8:34
Can somebody explain to me the playclock thing at about 10:00 in the video.I mean that sort of holds some weight.Seattle gets their playclock reset effectively giving them 57 seconds to run a play, while SF gets their playclock short, giving them about 35 seconds to run a play and get flagged for it?

And mine was from the super bowl... So...
What about the Bowman strip that was called Seattle ball? It's hard to imagine that game was not rigged.
Personally, I find it quite easy to believe in the incompetency of NFL referees.

There's NO explanation for the delay of game on SF. Previous play ends at 11:12. Flag for delay of game is thrown at 10:38. 34 seconds play clock?
Fuck the adderall/skittles eatin', dope smoking seattle seahags.
I'm surprised by a lot of the reactions to this. Especially since things like this have happened to the Bucs often in the past. For example:This play against Miami: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tso4owfEG78 (The ref isn't even LOOKING AT THE PLAY)And Washington's 5th down: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ncy-xrVjccU (Look at the yard marker. There are only NINE yards between it and the line of scrimmage. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY INEXCUSIBLE!)All of these calls including the delay of game on San Fran, extra play clock for Seattle, and the Bowman play are due to one of two things: complete incompetence by the officials or some outside influence. If it is the officials, how is it that no one is held accountable for these obvious errors? These are not judgement calls, the officials are blatantly breaking/not enforcing the rules. And at the same time, the players and coaches can't fight it because they would either be penalized, fined, or suspended. People in the crowd or people watching on their TV certainly can't do anything about it.It's also possible that these are pre-planned, well calculated efforts to influence the outcome of a game or increase ratings and profits. Is it possible that the refs are given instructions from an outside source? The whole play clock thing in the championship game just seems so deliberate. And the funny thing is I never noticed it until this video. Then again, how many people actually would notice the play clock wasn't exactly 40 seconds. Number one, they don't display it on the TV, and two, most people watching are at least a few beers deep. (Now that I think about it, why isn't the play clock always displayed? It is in basketball.) And is it also possible that on plays like the Bowman fumble recovery, the refs knew it couldn't be reviewed? I really don't know, but it is certainly possible. Another thing I found interesting is that on the aforementioned plays, the announcers seem genuinely confused.I, nor anyone can really say with certainty what or IF anything is going on behind the scenes, but I do know that I have seen lots of football games where something just did not feel right. Whether it is a blatant error by an official or a huge conspiracy, it should be approached rationally and objectively instead of being dismissed like some of the people on this board. I bet they would be singing a different tune if it was the Bucs in the championship game instead of the 49ers.
What stood out to me: A.) Most of the erroneous penalties that were called in this game looked eerily similar to the calls from the Bucs Jets game in New York. That clean hit by Whitner and the hit by Goldson on Cumberland were almost identical. Same with the Carlos Rodgers push out of bounds, that call was almost identical to the Lavonte David push on Geno Hayes. B.) The refs make a bunch of mistakes during a Bucs game and 49ers fans belittle our team. Meanwhile, when refs make almost identical calls on the field they go posting 15 minute videos try to convince everybody how the NFL is fixed. Typical horse **CENSORED** and just shows why obnoxious 49ers fans don't deserve what they have.

This was the absolute worst call I can ever remember. It still makes me angry to this very day.
