That Toms playing chess while the rest of the league playing checkers? We basically knew we would win the division, why show the whole playbook??
They definitely open up in the playoffs
No, dude.
No way lol
not saying we won’t come alive but probably a combination of bad defense and Brady willing to take hits in a do or die game which is comforting because he will do same in playoffs
Yeah sure, ole Lefty is holding back his best and most creative plays for the playoffs...oh to dream.
The best thing about the Bucs chances is they are getting back a bunch of key players just in time for the playoffs.
Yeah, settle down... We barely beat a crappy AZ team and opened it up against an average CAR team without their best CB. It's nice to win, but when was the last time they beat a good team?
This team is garbage. The offense is still garbage until they do it against a decent team. I have very little faith that this crapfest will get past the wild card round.
One of the biggest problems for the Bucs will be offensive performance against a D that is intentionally taking away the Evans deep ball.
No real run threat. No Gronk so the underneath, zone busting has to be Otton and Godwin
Could be!
could also not be.
we can beat any team tho.
but also any team could beat us..
time will tell.
Yea this is really a 13-4 team that treated 95% of the season like pre-season
This is a 3-14 team without Brady.
Just looking at the argument that the Bucs have basically been mailing it all season, they are NOT what their record says they are, THEY ARE REALLY A 13-4 TEAM . . .
The Bucs have something like a -30 point differential? I think every team (except one) that has ever made the playoffs with a negative point differential went out of the playoffs almost immediately (wild card /divisional)
That one exception though was the Giants. They had a -6 differential, but the interesting part is they basically had QB play (manning) carry them. Bad running and inconsistent defense.
C'mon BRADY!
"so you're saying there's a chance!"

Are you referring to the SB year where they beat the Bucs in the WC?
They were a Top-5 rushing unit all year and their defense gave up 16 points per game in the playoffs.
Eli didn’t carry that team.

no, 2011.
This is one description:
"The 2011 Giants were an aberration from other great Giants teams of the past who were built around tough, physical defensive play and an offense built around a power running attack. Despite Jason Pierre-Paul having a breakout Pro Bowl season with 16.5 sacks, the defense was ranked in the bottom 10 in points and yards allowed and was top 10 in penalties. Their normally durable rushing attack of Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw was ranked last in the NFL with 89 rushing yards per game as a team. The standout of the year was the quarterback play of Eli Manning who threw a career-high and franchise record 4,933 passing yards with 29 touchdown passes."
