Could we pull of the most unlikely of all trades? Could we pull off a double trade down??Too much time before the draft results in threads like this. What if?We traded down with the NY Jets and we got their 1st and 2nd this year and 1st in 2016 and a 2nd in 2017? Of course we would need to be certain they are drafting Jameis Winston, which is the logical scenario. Then when we are on the clock at No.6 and Mariota is still there, we pull the trigger and trade back with the Browns and get their two 1st round picks this year and a 2nd in 2016 and a 3rd in 2017.They of course will select Marcus Mariota.Personally, I would never trade the rights to Jameis Winston for any offer, but this just came to me as a possibility. So we would end up with:2015 - Two 1st round picksThe Jets 2nd round pick2016 - One 1st rounder and two 2nd rounders additional.2017 - One additional 2nd and one additional 3rd.There probably would be a major backlash but that would be a pretty good haul. Three 1st rounders, three 2nd rounders and a 3rd for one pick......and I am guessing these would be high picks considering the Jets and Browns suck.
