could VJ work in the slot?

i fear he's backsliding, but it could have been last year's coaching.with his size, he could create major mismatches in the middle of the field... if i remember correctly, keyshawn would also do this.  we could use a speedier receiver outside to stretch the D and create additional space in the middle.  slot corners are getting smaller and i don't think lb's could keep up with him... seems like an opportunity to me.  basically this is the role Jimmy Graham played as "TE" who was usually split out.i don't know if VJ has the mentality for the role, though.
