Donk, I'm not arguing that Byron was ineffective as OC. I would really like to know where you got the idea that he has a low IQ. You've made that assertion quite a few times. Where did it come from?
I’m just glad I won’t be seeing as many 2 step drops , throw it in the dirt , it seemed Brady had one every 5 downs .

That's because you won't be seeing the opposing defenses calling out the upcoming play and the defense blanketing the rudimentary route concepts that were being run game after game after game after game. That will be nice.

That would be a first. Now that Leftwich can't find a job to save his life, I've noticed most of his loudest and unabashed supporters have quieted down.
Donk doesn't have the guts to answer that question. It would confirm exactly what I've been saying about him for years.

Speaking of things I’m glad we won’t be seeing:
1. Defenses knowing what we’re running and in order.
2. A clueless jackass at OC standing on the sidelines with a blank stare trying to figure out the aforementioned issue.
3. A moron OC berating reporters with a cocky attitude while spouting off his typical archaic nonsense about “can’t run PA unless you run the ball well” and his other low football IQ sound bites.
Ready to move on from that clown and the GOAT and see if Canales can bring a modern, innovative offense that gives Mayfield a QB-friendly system that utilizes his strengths.
Brady wasn't the same but our play calling and execution on some plays where it was the right play sucked. Like Brady would miss a wide open guy or the guy dropped it. We just weren't in synch at all they wouldn't be able to put drives together until the end of the game in garbage time. Run game was awful too. Brady showed in key times he could still play it just wasn't always pretty.
The offense was unorganized and not prepared for game days. Regardless of the injuries along the OL, Brady not willing to hang in there, play calling, etc. They were not sharp and not ready to go on game days.
Canales is going to flip the script and expect the team to be on point to make his offense work which requires a lot of motion and timing. The up tempo sharpness of Canales offense will be a breathe of fresh air compared to an offense that looked very unprepared for a pro team last season.
Losing Arians was a massive blow for the preparedness of the offense last year and it showed. Brady couldn't be OC and QB at the same time so it was too much even for him.
Whoop there it is!!!! That's so much deeper than I even thought. That's some severe hatred right there. That doesn't sound like Sanford, sounds more like Ocoee. That's because you won't be seeing the opposing defenses calling out the upcoming play and the defense blanketing the rudimentary route concepts that were being run game after game after game after game. Now that camp has started, will be looking forward to updates on how the offense is performing and if we get any idea of what Canales is cooking up.
Also, for those here in Florida, happy mini-season. Fill those coolers and be safe!
I don't think we need to focus on getting one particular QB. Its evidently a very deep QB crop. We may be looking for the next Kenny Pickett rather than the next Trevor Lawrence. That guy who may not blow the doors off everybody but has decent skills, good leadership and good mental makeup who maybe slips down the board just because of the depth. We have Hall of Fame players on this team and they aren't going to let us slide to 4 wins. It just isn't going to happen. And even if we go say 7-10 or 8-9 that's going to put us out of the top five. Even at that point you have to sell your soul to move up to the top two.
IMO the unusual thing about this draft is going to be the ability to land a good QB later down the line in the 10 to 20 range. There normally are more teams wanting QBs than there are QBs, and drafting a QB after the top 5 is a real crap shoot. But this time there may actually be more QBs than there are desperate teams. That could be the perfect time for the Bucs to just sit there at their spot and see who falls to them rather than selling out to move up to the top of the draft.
If Brady was on the 49ers this year, they'd be the NFC favorites; but the fact that he didnt try and do that makes me think he is checked out and doesnt believe in his abilities anymore.
1. The play calling became too predictable and sometimes borderline retarded behavior
2. We lost Marpet, Jensen, and Kappa; Smith reverted back to pre Brady play and the offensive line turmoil was too much to overcome
3. We lost Gronk and AB, Godwin recovering and not fully 100%
4. Brady got old, but then again people were saying that about him after the 2019 season.
Brady couldn’t beat any pressure with his feet , literally a statue back there .
check down or throw it in the dirt
Brady use to have a little mobility to move around the pocket , 0 now
