This is a Licht-style mock with a trade down and trade back up. Its not going to take the headlines away from the Raiders, but its crafty and would get an "A" rating from the pundits and Bucs fans if it can be pulled off.

STEP 1: TRADE DOWN Bucs trade down to 6th with the Giants and pick up Rd 3 Pick 95 and Rd 5 pick 171 from the Giants I've proposed this before and I really haven't seen anyone else mock this. Its not sexy to go down one spot, but the Buc but the beauty of it is that they lose nothing and pick up just enough picks to do step 2. The Giants aren't fooling anybody by sending out smoke signals that they aren't trying that hard to get Haskins. If Licht can convince the Giants he's shopping his pick hard, he'll force the Giants to pay up. I don't think a further trade down will materialize.

Rd 1 Pick 6 Bucs choose Ed Oliver DT Hou. As I said they lose nothing by trading down one spot so the Giants can secure Haskins. With McCoy as good as gone there is a need and opportunity to draft a cornerstone defensive tackle.

STEP 2: TRADE UP Bucs trade picks 39, 95 and 171 to the Chiefs for pick 29. The late first round will be a great opportunity to pick up a slider. Licht sees that and will jump on the opportunity to get into that sweet spot at the end of round 1. Will it be Jonah, Bush? The Chiefs miss out on Bradbury so they don't mind moving down and picking up a couple extra picks since they are missing a 4th Rd.

Rd 1 Pick 29 Bucs select Greedy Williams CB LSU Somebody is going to slide. Greedy was all the rage, and now he's the forgotten man. Licht didn't forget that we need to cover Julio Jones.

Rd 3 pick 70 Bucs select Germaine Pratt ILB. I believe it was Nobody and perhaps others who ask why we should draft White when we can get a guy like Pratt in Round 3 well here ya go.

Rd 4 pick 107 Bucs select Max Scharping G/RT NIU Hey who said NIU is a "smaller" school? Come on. Go MAC! But OK anyway playing two positions is basically a requirement for a mid-round offensive line pick. Scharping could end up being the starter at guard or right tackle, but for now can backup both.

Rd 5 pick 145 Bucs select Benny Snell RB KY. Barber gets a lot of love with words, but not with money. I'd prefer the money. His 1 year 2 mil contract tells me that the Bucs still want more help at RB and I don't just mean a small 3rd down type. Snell gives the Bucs another blue collar back.

Rd 7 pick 214 Bucs select Emeke Egbule OLB Hou. It won't hurt to get some depth at linebacker and special teams at this stage.
