Canales press conference worth a listen
At around 7:20 Canales is praising the skill and determination of Evans and he talks about Evans breaking off his routes and coming open AFTER the QB is already working the other side of the field

You also hear Canales several time group the last five games together as if there was a very obvious fork in the road for the offense. The Bucs media either coordinated with him or picked up on his comments because there is a graphic about the change in offensive ranks since the 12th game
Points 22nd to 12th
Yards 22nd to 11th
Rush 31st to 19th
Passing Yards 17th to 3rd
3rd down conversion 15th to 8th
Thats INCLUSIVE of the Saints game
It will not be long before he is a HC lol
Great breakdown of Stinnie getting his hat handed to him over and over by the Saints

With PR relying on PFF and more to call for Stinnie to be benched
If you want to see a receiver running open (probably for a TD) but Mayfield unable to get it to him because of Stinnie, its in the article and right here as well

"This one hurts. Palmer is open on the deep corner. Baker hesitates due to Jordan getting his hands up and then it's a broken play."
Jordan is 3 or 4 yards over the LOS when the pass would go
Highest ratio of run run pass. Guess who's first by a nautical mile?

Yikes! It appears your posts calling out the shortcomings of our OC have had merit all along. I thought you were just bloviating. A hat tip, my dear sir.
Can't tell if sarcasm or not but to be clear I do see Canales having a bright future here. He's shown flashes.
But run run pass can be a fine strategy in moderation... I just see it too much... and I sure as fuck don't wanna see it down 3 scores in the 2nd half
Canales can't make our line win their blocks. Only they can do that. He can just call plays to their strength.
The line got destroyed and it felt like we had Donovan Smith (Stinnie and Maunch) accounting for most of the disruption. Bad timing... etc
Can't tell if sarcasm or not
No sarcasm. I was being sincere. You have called out his play calling from the beginning, and now it can be seen in black and white what you have been saying all along.

Some here would have us believe Baker is holding Canales back... and I strongly disagree.
And as I hinted above I think Bowles is holding Canales back.
In his press conference this week, Canales makes specific reference to the decision. - an actual point where he decided they had no choice but to abandon their base offensive approach - to let the ball fly, see if they can get back into it. Its just that it was probably later than most wanted.
Canales is a believer in balanced offense (as he shold be) it just throws Bucs fans because they are used to 44 pass per game Brady AND we are arguably not built yet to be the team Canales wants us to be
It's not that Bucs fans wanna be 90/10 pass run. It's that we can't be 50/50 pass run. Limited by our interior line talent.
And it's the approach that run sets up the pass, when the modern NFL is built for pass to set up the run.
And we can use short passes to be the run game. That's where we found momentum... quick screens to White and Godwin etc.
Canales hands are somewhat tied but he's not be situationally aware.
Saints are good vs the run and their secondary was banged up. Logic would dictate that you make the safeties back off with passing first, then establish the run.

yes agreed
i only meant offense looks so different
Baker was an F today
Canales was a D
Interior offensive line was a D+
Palmer was a D
Godwin was a B
Evans was a B (should have had much more)
Panthers offense made our defense look like the 2001 Bucs
