They were talking about the Cowboys on Mike&Mike this morning. One of the topics was how the defense appears better this year even though they are running primarily the same scheme as last year. The biggest help to the defense was the amount of plays that they are on the field. They're seeing only ~50 plays a game as opposed to 70+ last year. This is due to the heavy run game of their offense and not having Romo throw as much. If Cowboys can take this approach deep into the playoffs, I can see Lovie using this validate his "offense" of just needing a strong running game and a game manager QB (McCown), and not drafting a QB in the first next year.
