The Bucs made a bunch of "let's tread water" moves this offseason and if you think any different, you're a blind homer

You must not have seen our deficiencies last year.  It’s weird…

Our fanbase is super feminine.

Licht hasn't been aggressive at all after the collapse there isn't anything to be proud of what this team has done this entire off season. More like crossing fingers and PR even had a podcast on YT talking about "luck".

Teams redeem themselves with action and planning not the same song and dance.

Would have saved the playoff game with that goal line stand but the offense coughed it up.

They still had a chance to "save the game" but instead they allowed conversion after conversion to eat all the clock and kick a game winning fg as time expired.

Weird detail to omit after the offense went and tied it up.

Are you omitting the 2nd and 3rd down back to back errors the offense had on their last drive. It’s Bowles fault Otton didn’t know the play on 2nd down. It’s Bowles fault Barton snapped the ball early on 3rd down.

This in no way addresses what I said. I'll say it again...

Despite those errors they still worked the ball down the field and TIED THE GAME and set the defense up to get a stop to get the ball back.

The defense repeatedly failed to get a stop and per the ENTIRE GAME the commanders methodically converted over and over to end the game (prior to that drive all those extended drives, including the 4th down stop, ate a shit ton of clock).

Offense scored on their last drive to tie the game.

Defense gave up the game winning score.

It's a very simple dichotomy in game where the offense couldn't carry the defense because the defense couldn't get off the field.

Weeks later Coen is gone and we are left with Bowles.

Fun stuff

So is Todd's defense.

Bowles carries a football around at OBP during practice like it's a security blanket like Linus from Peanuts. Maybe he's afraid of fumbling his defensive play calling. Yes, I am cynical and disgruntled, is there any other way for Bucs fans? At least not for this Bucs fan. The decision-making at OBP screams of soft rebuild penny-pinching by bonehead owners. RayJay will be filled with visiting team jerseys this Fall.

Defense got a goal line stand up 17-13 in the 4th. Offense immediately fumbles and the fan and Bucs media reaction is to blame Bowles. It’s ignorant.

Meanwhile if you watched both all 22s, Coen was calling the same plays in the same situations as he did Week 1 vs Washington because he was focused on going to Jacksonville. He copy and pasted a game plan for playoff game.

the offense 100% blew that playoff game. That being said, we wouldn’t have made playoffs without said offense.

On the flip side, the defense has gotten worse from 2023 to 2025 each season. Not exacting a good thing for whoever the DC or defensive minded coach is

You can't really sell a soft rebuild either because the Bucs have been doing that the last three off season cycles/drafts.  In the modern NFL rebuilds and turn arounds happen within 1-2 seasons.  We are season 4 of the soft rebuild.  At some point Licht needs to stop feeding his ego and accept doing the same thing over and over again is not working.  Especially with this coaching staff.

I’d like to hear why this is more Bowles fault than Licht’s fault. Answer carefully because I have overwhelming data to show it’s Licht’s fault

Which is why you've been able to convince so many people. You make very persuasive arguments.

as far as im concerned, i'd like them to clean house after the 7-10 2026 season.  Sorry Licht but you were bailed out by Brady and have not been deserving of a decade + employment

and i like Licht the person but yeah another losing season this year and time for a change.  And whoever decided to keep a coach after the team quit on him...yeah if Licht was part of that decision, time for a change.

Agreed. Not enough of those peons recognize the greatness of Todd Bowles and what he has to put up with in his GM forcing defensive players down his throat since 2019. For some reason, they also can't recognize the greatness of Sean Tucker and other JC HOF'ers. Bunch of dumbasses.

Atleast be fair about it. I was the only one who wanted the Darnold/Kubiak combo. Let me guess, it doesn’t count.

You wanted Sam Darnold? You have a link?
