Irving may be cleared by July/August but by no means should be football ready by then. I think Bowles was being honest from a player point of view of being in football shape. Even if Bucky is back in June running around he may need till August to be ready for contact. Fall is considered officially Sept 22nd of this year and I doubt Irving is out for the first six game of the season. But up north in the New York/Jersey area Fall is considered when kids go back to school and after Labor Day. So a precaution to hold Bucky out for 1-2 games to the start the season is plausible.
But from a Florida perspective our "Fall" lasts well into November due to hurricane season. Â
Most likely Bucky may miss pre season and be ready to go within the first three games of the season. Or he may in fact be ready for contact by the 2nd week of training camp. Who knows?
yeah time will tell
his YPC both pre and post time missed last year was concerning but we can chalk it up to offensive line makeshift?
either way, hoping he bounces back to what he was his rookie year.Â
in terms of mental issues, yeah not sure about all that, that would be even harder to correctÂ
Bucky will be great this year if he can stay healthy. He didn't hurt his legs he hurt his shoulder....and that injury came on a hip drop tackle.
I think he will be ready for the season opener but we need Gainwell to take meaningful snaps because Bucky isn't a bell cow.
Gainwell isn't a bellcow either so it comes down to a platoon with Gainwell and Tucker. I was thinking the Bucs add another RB but the team is high on Josh Williams.Â

I would have thought they add a big RB but they have not so yes the must be really up on Williams. Maybe part of that is ST?
and maybe how down they were on White

Wouldn't have mattered if they were high on White.Â
He wanted out before last year even began.Â
There was ZERO chance he was returning.

I thought maybe the other away around? He was angry because he was minimized instead of given his big chance.
". Before departing, he vented on social media and in interviews, expressing frustration over his "underrated" status, being "underutilized," and what he felt was a lack of consistency and communication from the Bucs' coaching staff regarding his role. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
The thing is you cant be the "big back" and then not hit the hole. That is what makes Tucker the short yardage guy. They paid Tucker 3 times White?
Bucs did not see a future for White moving forward and White wanted to move on to see if he can earn a bigger role. Nothing personal.
Nothing personal.
White certainly took it personally (see all the social media stuff). Out of character for him. Hope he does well with the Commanders
McNichols is a pretty good third down back for them so White will have to compete for playing time. Croskey-Merritt is a nice find for them but maybe they plan on using White more on early downs and using McNichols as a third down back still since Jayden Daniels trusts him.Â
