We've heard the same names recycled and rehashed for the first couple rounds: VH3, Conklin, Stanley, Rankin...but what are some names that might be called that would be surprising but not outright unbelievable? Names that have not been commonly associated with the Bucs?Round 1:Jarran Reed, DT, AlabamaThere's been a lot of talk about grabbing a DT with our first pick, but it's usually been a pass-rushing 3-tech. Who's to say Mike Smith wouldn't prefer a mammoth run-stopper to pair with McCoy? He, along with our new d-line coach, have historically favored large men on the line. While I'd personally prefer Vernon Butler, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that Koetter and Smith view Reed as the top DT in this draft class.Josh Doctson, WR, TCUVincent is getting up there in age, and some smaller, speedy WR names have been getting thrown around, i.e. Shepard, Coleman, Fuller. Watching Jameis his entire career, I think he prefers bigger-bodied WRs with long arms and wide frames. I believe Doctson has the best chance to become a true #1 - decent speed, high-pointing the ball, tall, great hands. He needs to work on his route running, but there's a small chance Licht views Doctson as the best WR in the class and scoop him at #9.William Jackson III, CB, HoustonVH3 has probably been the name most commonly associated with pick #9, but there might be concerns at One Buc regarding his size. Well, here's the solution. Watching tape on WJ3, there's literally nothing to not like. He does it all. He's fast, fierce and has a nose for the ball. He absolutely had his way with FSU and should be highly successful at the next level. Why wouldn't he be worth the ninth overall pick?Round 2:Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&MThere's been a lot of talk with taking an o-lineman with our first pick. Personally, I don't see a huge need. I really like Demar and think Pamphile offers excellent depth as an interior reserve and swing tackle. But if we do want to fortify the line some more, Ifedi would be a steal in the second. He's incredibly long and strong with a mean streak - something Licht clearly covets. There are few holes in this guy's game and he would make an excellent RT for the next decade.Ryan Kelly, C, AlabamaSticking with the o-line, if we want to find Hawley's eventual replacement, Kelly is the clear-cut best center in the 2016 class. I'd go so far to say he reminds me of Frederick form the Cowboys (who many felt was a reach in the 1st round). This guy doesn't make mistakes and I believe he didn't give up a sack the entire season. He was the anchor of that awesome Bama line for the last several years, paving the way for the likes of Henry and Yeldon.Hunter Henry, TE, ArkansasI wouldn't like this pick and it doesn't make much sense with ASJ and Brate on the roster, but the Sims pick didn't seem to make much sense either at the time. This would purely be a BPA approach if Koetter and Licht believe Henry to be the best talent at his position. Again, not a likely pick, but not utterly impossible. What say you? Who are your darkhorse picks?
