This article stinks of something a writer decided to make up, throwing together a bunch of Bucs truisms and calling it an "inside scoop".They were surprised at being let go? Well, duh. How many business do YOU know that notify top-ranking officials with a lot of power that they're going to be fired soon? Yeah, no way THAT could go badly. The "assurances" they were given were probably: "Win out or at least look really good in defeat, and you'll get another year". These guys probably thought they did. Schiano I don't know about, but Mark is a lot smarter than that.
Glennon is average. You want a average team, then you start glennon.
this article is bullshlt!!
Agreed.. some cut player running his mouth... Afraid to say his name. Thanks for the info waterboy.
Speaking on the condition of anonymity is a great way to not burn bridges. Tough guy caveman isn't the best way to move up in the world of intrigue.
All I know is that this post was a waste of time

Unintentional irony?
Do Schiano and Dom said they were safe if they made doe changes....wonder if QB was one if them
Lord Revis: "Speaking on the condition of anonymity is a great way to not burn bridges. Tough guy caveman isn't the best way to move up in the world of intrigue."Cowardly backstabber does seem to be the preferred strategy.

What bothers me the most about this Article is the BS Penn didn't get one mentioned about his lack of performance and how many sacks he gave up to have his QB nailed!!! Who ever the source is needs to go and re watch the tapes and then shut his mouth...Facts don't lie when they are recorded for review...OBD

If this was his second season then I would give you some credence but it ain't so I wont. I want to see what this young man does this coming year with a genuine OC. The tell tale will be this spring Training...OBD

The thing is, when you watch ALL 22.....the plays were there. The receivers were open. Everyone wants to blame play calling the the fact is that Glennon was often too busy running from phantom pressure and hurrying his throw to see wide open receivers. The plays were often there, but Glennon was just making bad decisions and flaking out. Not sure that changes with a better OC.

The Plays may have been there but they were there to be completed. Dear Lord I watched the same game you did and may have one or two still on DVR....I really don't see how Glennon as a Rookie QB did so bad so please take a breath and let this guy grow...His O-Line was pathetic...OBD
If they were caught off guard, then i'd have to question their intelligence
+1

The O-line did struggle at times, but that same exact O-line helped Garbage Can Freeman to a record breaking season last year and sent Martin to the Pro Bowl. Guys like Rodgers and Wilson have overcome awful O-lines because that is what great QBs do. It's an excuse imo. Our O-line was not great by any means, but it wasn't nearly as bad as you make it out to be.
The same Rodgers that sat for four years and got the chance to develop?Or Tony Romo who didn't take off until he was 26?What if we looked at ESPN's QBR? Looks like, as a rookie with limited weapons, Mike (45.6) is in the same area as Joe Flacco (46.7) and Alex Smith (49.4)Andrew Luck is a Franchise guy, right?343 570 60.2% 3,822 6.7 23 9 32 87.0247 416 59.4% 2,608 6.2 19 9 40 83.9God forbid Mike Glennon gets a chance in his 2nd year (biggest jump for players) with real WR (not 3rd and 4th string)
Was Dominik deceived when the crappy druggy CB he gave $7.5M to for one season ended up playing like crap before getting busted for drugs?
